Customers find this mouse great for work and gaming. It’s lightweight and has better switches. However, some feel it feels cheaply made and not as robust as the G502 Cable. Opinions vary on how it feels in hand.

Great Backup Mouse
My wireless has been glitchy so I got this wired mouse for times when the wifi goes down. A great mouse. Highly Recommended.

Comfy, accurate, and light
My G502 Hero started giving me the infamous auto double-clicks after 8+ years of near daily use, so here is the assessment for its replacement with the G502 X:–Good–>Just as ergonomic and well-fitting to my large-ish hands>Just as accurate feeling in terms of sensor capability>Buttons feel as crisp and immediately responsive as the G502 Hero. Hoping the opti-mechanical switches prove themselves in the long term–Less good–>Whereas the Hero version came with a set of weights , the G502 X does not. Had old mouse weighted an extra 30 or so grams, and so while the adjustment to the new one hasn’t taken as long as expected prior, the lack of weight makes it feel cheap (even if the construction is solid and doesn’t creak like actually cheap mice). Of course weight doesn’t equal quality (eh Beats headphones?), but the extra weight of the Hero made it feel like a deliberate and purposeful tool instead of toy-like. I’m only chalking this opinion up to the newness of the experience though, so it undoubtedly will change to more favorable in short time.>The cord is rubberized instead of sheathed in a braided covering. Thankfully the rubber isn’t tacky and doesn’t grab onto the wood of my desk, but the braided Hero sheath did glide even more easily across surfaces.**Minor update for the overly attentive**>Yep, the weight difference largely stops being noticeable after a few days. While I miss the ability to customize it on principle, the body and construction of the Hero X is contoured enough and solid enough that I estimate I’ll appreciate the extra smidge of in-game aiming speed when next get in a session.

G502X after using G502 for 8 years
In Japan, LogiTech is called LogiCool because in Japan there was already a company called LogiTech. I bought the Wired LogiCool G502 back on 2016 in Japan and I have been using it since then. After 8 years of heavy daily usage, my G502 still works wonderfully. The scrolling wheel has been becoming old, reason why I decided for going to the next step with the Wired G502X.I gotta say that the G502X feels smooth and works great. However, one the things I immediately noticed is the cable. The G502X cable is thin and seems weak, not as robust and sturdy as the G502 Cable. The cable of the G502X feels kind of “cheap”.However, the design pretty much resembles the G502, which makes it really easy to get used to. I used all the weights in my old G502, reason why I got used to a most robust and heavy feeling with the mouse. The G502X feels way more light, which makes it comfortable and less stressful to the hand.Excellent product and ready to rock with it!

Great mouse for work and gaming
After getting tired of my razor mice having double click and janky scroll wheel issues (both due to static on the sensors), I decided to try this Logitech mouse. I really like the ergonomic feel and how it clicks. I was initially worried about the free rolling scroll wheel, but after using it I discovered that the scroll wheel “lock” just makes it click like other scroll wheels I’m used to. So I usually keep it “locked” (again, not actually locked, just clicks instead of rolling freely) for gaming or normal web and document browsing. But when I’m trying to get somewhere in a large spreadsheet or huge document, it’s nice to unlock it and fly through the pages. Oh yeah, and the mouse sensitivity buttons are awesome. I use it while gaming all the time in HLL – I turn down the sensitivity while playing infantry and using a rifle for steady aiming, but when I hop in a tank as a spotter, I turn the sensitivity up to look around quickly, all with a few clicks on the mouse. Very useful.

Light speed of reaction click
Mouse 25k sensor lags a bit liquid filling to the drag of the mouse….click is light year’s away… was already clicked.¡@

Left and Right click stopped working out of nowhere
One night i was gaming normally and in the next morning it just wont let me left or right click, i tried everything from uninstalling the driver and installing it again to downloading a logitech test tool and confirmed the two buttons are nonexistent for the tool.Redditors say they have to let the mouse inside the freezer for it to work every time they want to use it, im not putting my mouse in the freezer, thats just madness, worst product of all time, not buying anything logitech ever again, DO NOT BUY this crap

Excelente mouse
Excelente en todo, lo único malo es que la rueda del medio cuando no está en modo libre suena duro pero de resto perfecto para todo

Newer but not an upgrade
New model is lacking many things that made the original model feel special to me. No RGB on the wired version of this mouse is a poor decision as this mouse no longer stands out in the market compared to other mice. Turned a fan favorite mouse into essentially a downgrade of the original but more costly.
