These are better than they look honest
I first got to use these in an audio production class in 2023. Upon first glance I figured these were just another set of bad computer lab headphones. I was wrong. These are quite comfortable to wear for extended periods of time (much more than your typical wireless headphone). These also have incredible sound quality. Now if youâre looking to only listen to music I would suggest something else. These are more for those interested in working with audio and/or music. Podcast production, audio editing, music production. The cord is coiled and quite long so you can really get far away if youâre looking to stand far from an audio recording device. For example I wore these while recording foley and I got to stand quite far from my computer while still being able to monitor what the mic picked up. These are quite portable as well as they fold into themselves and yes it is durable. I have dropped, sat on, pulled, and accidentally thrown these they are as good as new.

Sound great but uncomfortable after wearing them for a while.
These headphones sound great. They are much better than the headphones that I had before. However after wearing them for a while my ears start to get sore. They are too tight on my head and there’s no way to loosen them.

I just purchased my 6th pair of 7506 phones. I’m a film director/editor and to say that I’ve spent thousands of hours under a pair of these is an understatement. You see them everywhere in the professional film and tv industry. Now I’m not a pro sound guy, like to hire those guys both for field recording and mixing. But I do plenty of it as budgets/schedules don’t allow for that. First, these are light and comfortable considering their mission. The frame articulates well giving you a very custom fit .. hang on your neck, sit on top of your head. They are “reference monitor” phones and as such, for pure accuracy, I don’t think there’s another condender in where near this price point. The ear pads are very comfortable, soft material but because of that, it flakes off after about a year of near constant use. Replace them with originals or there are a great number of aftermarket ear cups for the 7506. I just got some gel that are pretty good but honestly, it’s hard to beat the originals.

Volume is loud then painful
I bought these after they were recommended for transcription work These started off good but I soon noticed I kept having to turn the computer volume down because these are louder than the other professional headphones available at work. Then I noticed every few jobs I’d run into a short bit that was painfully high-pitched. It took a couple of weeks for me to realize it was the headphones and not the audio quality of the dictations I was processing. By the time I realized (and verified by trying the same job with other professional headphones), I was two weeks outside of the return window. The seller refused to back their product and allow a return even when Amazon contacted them twice to tell them to assist with a return. I’m currently awaiting a resolution after Amazon customer service filed a claim against the seller.
