Get Rid of Dungeon Darkness
If you struggle with poor lighting during video calls, this ring light is a must-have. Itâs compact but bright enough to add the perfect amount of light to my workspace, especially when the natural light from my windows isnât enough. The clip-on design is secure and convenient, and it doesnât take up any space on my desk surface which is already limited. Itâs also lightweight and stable, making it easy to move between my laptop and monitor setups. Additionally the variety of light warmth was impressive and useful. A fantastic product for video meetings or recording videos!

Good Value and Quality
This product is easy to use. I like that it has several different settings for brightness and color. It fits conveniently on the back of my laptop for my regular Zoom meetings. Great product!

Good value for money
I bought this because every week I have a call over zoom. My main lighting comes from behind, which makes me look like my face is splotchy and red and like I have a very blonde moustache. Lighting choices are standard. Works with USB and as I work from a desktop, that’s perfect. Easy to assemble and adjust angles.My only minor dislikes are one, that the controller for the light is right in the middle of a rather long cord. Then again, my monitor is right by my tower. Two, that it doesn’t fit really well on a curved monitor. Yes, it will fit, but not tightly. Otherwise, it seems to be braced well enough to stay on if you don’t hit it.

I recently purchased this ring light and can confidently say it’s the perfect tool for anyone who takes a lot of calls or meetings on their computer. It has truly elevated my video conferecing experience! The price point is jsut right and the light istelf works flawlessly. I also love that it’s comapatible with differnet types of laptops. I use this ring light at work for my online meetings. My office lighting is all overhead and causes shadows making me look tired. This ring light is perfect for solving that problem.

Adequate, But Canât Recommend for Desktop Use
Iâm not a streamer, nor am I doing make-up tutorials on social media. I just wanted a little fill-in light for videoconferencing with coworkers.Pros: This light is perfectly adequate, more than bright enough, has selectable color temperatures, and was able to really improve picture quality and make me look much less haggard and sickly in video streams. Itâs small and portable and would work well for a mobile professional with a laptop on the go.Cons: It just isnât well-designed for desktop use. The monitor mount is deeper than most modern bezels, I had to wedge it up to not cover the screen. The USB-A cord is permanently attached and canât be replaced and is relatively short, I had to find an extension. It doesnât come with a power adapter, I had to find a spare. The controls are halfway down the cord, I was working on a solution to attach this where it would remain accessibleâ¦then realized I was doing a lot to force this to work for a use case it just wasnât designed for and decided to return it for something better designed for desktop use.If youâre looking for a bit of face lighting for your mobile office, this little light is a good value. If youâre set-up with a home office and a desk where youâre looking to semi-permanently add some lighting, I recommend looking for a better option.

Not for people who wear glasses
My rating isn’t specific to the product manufacturer. It’s a good product. It’s easy to use. BUT, if you wear glasses, any ring light is going to reflect in your lenses. It’s not great for video that way (calls or recording). If you wear glasses, I’d go with more of a square sheet type set up for more diffused coverage.

It does its job well. Easy to install. Three different modes: cold light, night(warm) and day light. You can also adjust the light intensity.I don’t use the PC slot, I use a direct plug charger so I can use it as a lamp without turning on the computer.I am happy with the purchase.

Super easy to set up and use!So versatile – I can use it in my work room with my mobile when I talk with family as it holds my phone, its compact! I can easily move it to my pc. I just plugged it straight into the USB.The lights are interchangeable cool, warm etc and also in intensity too.I thought it might be difficult to find the right light, but it really isn’t. I found that just clicking through the lights I found some nice shades of skin tone I liked. So much better than looking like a beetroot!This is currently living on top of my PC screen now. Really pleased. Oh, and excellent value.

The item came well packaged and was really easy to set up. You simply screw the light onto the stand, rest on top of the monitor and plug into usb. The controls are also easy to use – power on, + and – to increase or decrease the light and a button to change the colour mode (there are three modes changing from white light to a more yellow, I liked the latter the most).What was great was that it made a big difference to the picture on video calls. I have to say I looked liked a much better version of myself :)It was a lot brighter than I was expecting on the highest setting, and I found the midway brightness to be the best.The only niggle…. I would not say this is portable. It seems a little fragile and there is no case so I would worry about, for example, putting it in a laptop case/ backpack and carrying it around. And secondly you need to plug it into usb, but if needed to be portable this could be a powerbank (although I did not test this).So overall happy, knocking off one start due to the niggles around it being portable.
