Works perfectly, great value
I bought this because I was not sure of the size connector that my device had. It turns out my device had the same connector as the one on the cable so I did not need to use any of the included adapters. The adapters appear to be high quality and you’ll likely get and size that you could possible need. My device is rated for 12V 9.8W but it has motors so I figured this 12V 3A (36W) power supply would be more than adequate to handle any inrush current and peak demands, which it does.

Power supply cannot source 3 amps continuously- maybe peak. Much closer to 1.5-2a. Itâs universal so thatâs a plus. Probably lacks internal protections other supplies have, sparks when you plug it in.

Fit what i needed
Honestly, this is pretty great. I bought this to use as a power source for my resin printer but was able to use it for a number of different things because of all of the adaptors. Can’t complain about that for the amount I paid for it. It did power the resin printer as well. Good purchase.

It’s a 12V 3A center-pin-positive power supply. It comes with a bunch of adapters for plug types that probably don’t take 12V 3A, but they’re still nice to have, and the screw terminal is very convenient for prototyping. The only complaint I have is that it has one of those painful blue LEDs on it!! Ofc, it’s nothing a bit of green Duck Tape duct tape can’t solve, but it’d be nice if the LED was any other colour, since they are both less of an assault on the eyes and last longer.

I am a musician and DJ. On Halloween, I do A Kiss Tribute as Gene Simmonds. I built a stage and use lighting effects. My wife gets me into my costume and puts my make-up, on. The sound is driven through my Peavey Speakers, and they are stadium-worthy. This year, We changed it up and asked what would happen if Kiss did “Enter Sandman ” by Metallica. So we did just that and the 3 Halloween performances were excellent. So, while setting up, my adaptor wire got pulled out, and I spent hrs trying to solder and repair it. Went on Amazon and came up with this adaptor. Next Day delivery just in time for the Halloween show. Comes with an array of adaptors to suite the different plug ins. Just make sure of your electrical input and out put of your old one. And your good to go. Highly recommended. Ordered a second one after Halloween incase the other adaptor breaks.

A relatives garage door opener died and they picked up a new universal unit from Arkare. It worked really well once we figured out it needs an external power supply (this item) that has to be bought separately when connecting to older 2 wire openers. I took away 1 star because it is always annoying when you buy something and find out it needs something else to make it work. The power supply has worked for 6 months, will see how it holds up come winter.
