Fantastic Monitor
This monitor is next level great. Screen/text crystal clear and bright (up to 450 nits). I bought it for office use in a professional environment, where I mostly work with the Office 365 product suite. Everything is picture perfect. I also enjoy the easy to use settings and the clever drop down hub that provides two USB-C ports and one USB-A port for charging my phone and Air Pods. And I like the more subtle curve to the monitor than other large, curved monitors. I am not a gamer, so I cannot comment on that. Bottom line, this monitor performs perfectly for my professional needs, and I am glad I spent the considerable extra money it takes to buy this monitor relative to its competitors.

Ultimate 5K2K Monitor
I’ve had this monitor up and running for about a week now. No issues so far and it delivers on the promised specs. I use it for video editing and the color accuracy out-of-box was excellent (no need for further calibration). I’m surprised by the sheer number of ports as well, though I already have a dedicated usb hub so I haven’t really put it to the test.

The bestâ¦
5120×2160! Did you read the 2160 vertical!? Yea I canât stress that enough. Gosh I find it so frustrating there arnt more options in this space. Here is the deal, if you have multiple monitor setup (and you should if you have a work station) you likely will have a couple of 4k monitors kicking around. Now these 4k monitors are staples, and they all have 2160 vertical. If you have 1140 vertical like almost ALL ultra wide monitors do then there will be this annoying stepping with your mouse when you go from one screen to the next. It drives me nuts that the standard for these ultra wides does this. If you donât have the same resolution vertical from one screen to the next then you wonât have a seamless transition from one screen to the next. Itâs just the facts. This dell is one of the only curved ultra wide monitors with 2160 vertical resolution. It runs at 120 hertz which also believe it or not makes it one of the only 5120×2160 resolution monitors on the market to do that. Iâm sure you can tell by my writing I have owned a lot of high quality monitors in my time and this one for me is by far the best.Iâm switching from a none curved ultra wide 32â LG that runs at 60hrtz. Needless to say this is way better, and sadly there was like this burn in that occurred on my LG that would eventually go away but stick around for the better part of a day. This ultimately put me back in the market looking for a replacement.Point being, now I only buy dell monitors. Iâve never had issues with them , they have great color reproduction, pretty affordable (as of now), basically super reliable all around.Obviously Iâm not thrilled about the lack of options for folks that have real work to do on there pcs. All this gamer b.s. in the marketplace, itâs all junk as far as Iâm concerned. So if you actually have productive things to do on your pc then you canât do much better then this monitor, I highly recommend. My only gripe is I wanted a smaller version of this maybe a 32â or 36â, it simply doesnât exist on the market as of now. However, this works for me, the curved surface buys me back a little desk relestate, and itâs something I really missed with my previous monitor.Side note, I definitely recommend monitor arms for all your monitors. I bought one for the larger center monitor (this one) and it works great. Just be sure you buy one that has a high weight capacity, ideally 44lbs or more. This monitor given its size is 42lbs I believe (although honestly it doesnât feel nearly that heavy). So just be prepared for that. Hope this is helpful, and I hope the manufacturers wake up one day and realize this screen resolution isnât a nice to have, itâs a must for a lot of people.

Great monitor with one minor personal gripe
I’ve had the U4025QW for about a week now and love it. I was using a 34″ Viewfinity curved monitor. I needed a little more screen space, more up-to-date port options, but the main reason I wanted this monitor is to take advantage of it’s 5k2k at 120Hz. I just got a M4 MacBook and it works great paired with this monitor.Color and brightness are great. All of the port options are a life saver, especially the little dropdown quick access port, and the 120Hz is smooth with my new MBP. I’m sure more things will be revealed to me the more I use this amazing monitor. My one gripe would be the curve of the monitor. My previous monitor has a 1500R curve rating. I never felt like I had to turn my head to look anywhere on the monitor, and if I did turn; it was rare and ever so slight. For a lack of a better word, the curve was perfect. The U4025QW has a 2500R curve rating so it isn’t nearly as curved as the Viewfinity and I do find myself having to turn my head more often than not. Which isn’t a huge issue right now but I can see it getting tiresome after a while. That’s why I wish the monitor had a little bit more of a curve, at least an 1800R rating. Now, I am sitting at the same distance I was with the Viewfinity, about 26″, which plays into this issue a little bit. I’m waiting for my new desk to arrive which is 60″x30″; so I’ll be about 32″-33″ from the monitor with the new desk. In my opinion, you need to sit at least 32″-33″ away in order to not have to worry about turning your head with this monitor. The only issue is, most desks are between 23″-25″ in depth so you’ll want to keep that in mind when buying this monitor. Dell should have thought about this during R&D but I digress. The whole point of a curved monitor is so you shouldn’t have to turn your head much if at all. This might not be an issue for some people but it can become a problem in the long run. Just my 0.02 cents. It’s still a great monitor regardless of this issue. I hope this helps others looking to buy this monitor.
