Added 2nd Monitor To Mac Mini 2018
Used this adapter to add a 2nd monitor to a Mac Mini 2018. Worked great! I’m using the Mac Mini as a “thin client” to remote desktop to either my powerful Windows PC or a more powerful Mac Mini M2 from a basement workbench. The 2018 Mac Mini itself works decent after a SSD upgrade, but it’s really nice to be able to remotely connect from it to other PCs if I want to run something more powerful. In any case, this adapter was part of the solution to achieve what I wanted and it worked perfectly!

Works Great with Alienware’s Mini Display Port
I determined my HDMI port went bad on me. My Alienware laptop also had a mini display port so … tried this using original HDMI cable from monitor and tadaaa 2nd monitor back in business. No set up no config just worked simply. Quality seems really good too. I can’t speak to the 4K but the picture on my Dell S2409W at 1920×1080 resolution looks good as ever.

Fantastic product for hooking up Microsoft Surface to Larger Monitor
This is a fantastic product. Right out of the bag it hooks up with no issues. You plug the one end into your Microsoft Surface tablet and the other end into one of the ends of an HDMI cable (not included) then the other end into the HDMI port on your monitor. The actual item mentioned here is about 2 inches in length and that is including the wires. Beautiful picture with no distortion at all. Vibrant colors. Great deal considering some others want to change $49.99.

I wanted to connect my MacBook Air to my 26″ monitor, and this did just that. I got this adapter rather than a full cdmi cable because it’s easier to pack, and most places have an available hdmi cable. It was plug n play, I connected and instantly had two screens going in extended mode.
