I am in the automotive industry as a tech on medium duty and light duty trucks, cars, buses, etc. work on a lot of diesel vehicles this by far is the best portable battery jumper that I have used. I have bought many including Snap On, Matco, Schumacher, none of them work as good as this one! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this model if youâre jumpstarting any kind of diesel truck. I have even used this to drive vehicles in the shop when the vehicle is completely dead and dies when you disconnect the jump pack. Again, this is the best for the size & price

Works as it should! I would buy it again.
I’ve used it to jump off my 12V diesel lawnmower, a couple diesel pickup trucks and just last week my Caterpillar Smooth drum roller went dead after sitting for weeks with the key on. It’s a large cat engine around 6-7.0L.I realized it was 24V and looked at the NOCO 4250A I bought and realized it doesn’t do 24V. I was disappointed, I thought it did. I stuck the jump box on it anyways to see if I could at least give it some power just to get systems powered up. Everything powered on so I let it sit 45-60 seconds and said hell let me just see what it does. Turned the key and whomp whomp whomp it fired off pretty nicely. I’m happy with it. Would 100% buy it again.

Failed after 3 months
All parts have the potential for defects or premature failure and this in itself should not warrant a bad review. After 3 months of light use I was attempting to jump a truck we needed in the shop and a red lightening light came on the right side of the device, it will no longer allow a charge or jump a vehicle. After contacting customer service I was advised I need to send in the device and it would take 3 weeks or longer to review and then potentially cover under warranty based on their findings. I requested advice on what to do to cover the time of 3 weeks to a month without the jump box and was ignored with the instructions for warranty returns sent to me again as the reply. Unfortunately this puts us in a bind as we will need a jump box while waiting for this defective one to be reviewed and potentially covered for warranty repairs. Do we purchase another one after having a failure so soon and have two jump boxes, one which we don’t need? Do we purchase another one to fill the gap and then deal with returning it once the defective one is returned to us? Do we look into buying another brand that may be more reliable or have better customer service?

I’ve already jump started 1999 school bus and 5 other diesel trucks with ease. The weight isn’t bad for what it can do. If you use there cable to charge the charging time is short. It’s the easiest jump pack I’ve used.

Great product. Well-made and nicely packaged. That said, the 1/2″ thick 3×5 “owner manual” is a waste of paper . . . print too small to read and really only a few pages of useful content, The remaining pages are the same thing in 200 languages.IGNORGE the “often bought together” recommendation for the *GBX155* to also buy the XGC4 56-Watt XGC Power Adapter. It does NOT work with the GBX155 (which has its own 60w charging capability built in).IMPORTANT TIP 1: The GBX155 WILL NOT WORK in regular mode unless your battery has at least 3 volts of charge. You need to run it in override mode by pressing the safety feature override button for at least 3 seconds until the 12-vold charge light comes on.IMPORTANT TIP 2: You CANNOT disable the safety mode while the unit is connected to your battery. You must disconnect the unit from the battery first, then press the override button, and ONLY then connect to the battery.The user manual (such as it is) helped with issue #1 but not issue #2. I was ready to give up and return the product until, by trial and error, I figured it out.Once through the humps, this thing has tons of boost. I was able to easily start a 6.8L F-350 V-10 in cold weather without a hiccup.
