Fantastic gaming mouse, medium weight, solid build.
ITEM: Rii Gaming Mouse, 12,000DPI Optical Sensor, Wired Gamer Mouse for FPS, 7 Buttons RGB.This is a fantastic gaming mouse. Definitely recommend.CABLE: The length of the cable is 6 and half feet. It’s a decent heavy mouse, not too heavy and not light.MOUSE DPI: There are five settings, you can scroll through using the up and down buttons below the scroll wheel. This is a separate, independent of the backlight, small LED that changes color, from WHITE (setting 1 – ULTRA FAST), to Magenta, Blue (setting 3 – medium), red, green (setting 5 -slow).From ultra fast to slow. I keep it on setting 3, which appears to be the perfect speed for movement for general use, working in Excel, programming, photo/video editing. Setting 2 is faster and is used for gaming, and Setting 1 is ultra fast and for extremely fast movement in gaming.ERGONOMICS: This is a fantastic mouse and feels very comfortable in the hand. I haven’t used it in marathon gaming sessions, but I have used it for working from home in marathon Excel, Word, data analysis and programming sessions for 8 hours. Very comfortable. The bottom glides very smoothly.COLOR: You can select the color you want by cycling through them, and what changes is the icon where your palm rests, and the bottom back where the end of your palm rests. It does a breathing effect, a fading in and fading out. You can cycle forward through the colors by pressing the FORWARD button on the side and pressing/clicking the mouse scroll wheel, and it will go forward through the colors. Once you reach the end, you need to press the BACK button on the side and press/click the scroll wheel to go backwards through the colors. There are 9 options, 8 colors and an OFF setting.BUTTONS: The left and right mouse buttons are very responsive and the clicking sound is medium, similar to other higher priced gaming mice, including gaming mice from American companies.

Works Well
Lightweight and easy to use! Color is a nice touch as well. Sensitivity settings are easy to adjust and all the buttons work well after months of continuous daily use. Feels great in the hand and i have no issues with the item at all. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a budget friendly mouse as a backup or primary!

Not a bad option if you’re on a very tight budget
I love testing out this kind of stuff and I’m always looking for a diamond in the rough when it comes to computer peripherals. I wish I could say I found one…but I just can’t with this one. Overall, it’s not a bad mouse and someone on a very tight budget might like it very much. However, after testing out quite a few peripherals over the years, I know there are better options out there for just a few dollars more.Pros:- The cursor does seem responsive enough for moderate gaming and the adjustable DPI switch on top does come in handy for when you need to use that sniper rifle!- Some of the mice I’ve seen over the recent years have a very “gawdy” look to them but this one isn’t that bad. The lights do give it an accent and I like that you can change the RGB modes without the need of software (press the ‘scroll button+forward/backward button’ to select backlight).Cons:- The buttons feel a bit “spongy” when pressing them down. This really hurts the overall experience and it definitely lets you know it’s not a high end mouse that would cost 2-3 times this price.- It says there’s a rubber coating on the exterior of the mouse but it almost feels like it’s not present. I just imagine over time the so called rubber coating will become non-existent.

I feel like I should in a rocking chair on a porch and shout at a cloud about the single button, rubber-ball based mouse days.But I would never go back to them. The variety of buttons and the ability to program them for tasks and functions is crucial these days.This one, particularly, has been great. First, you have assignable buttons. Most games have the ability to do that within the system, and you can do that with productivity software as well. That’s not really a standout feature, but it is good to have enough buttons for usual tasks.Seven feels just right on number of buttons. If you need a reference card for the 17-buttons, you have too many buttons to speed up your work.The DPI works and easily adjust, whether you’re gaming or photo editing.Personally, I end up turning off the LEDs, but that’s because I like the room to be dark when I’m trying to sleep. Useful mouse, works as a good everyday mouse for me.
