Adorably Small, Amazingly Mighty
I purchased this new mini pc, the 89HS 2TB variant and my hope for purchasing this computer was to serve three purposes. I wanted to be able to play the latest games, be able to quickly charge my smartphone and tablet, and have an HDMI-to-HDMI video and audio connection because with my last mini pc, I did not do my research and ended up buying a computer that only had DisplayPort and as such had to use a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. Being that integrated graphics are not ideal for playing the latest high demanding games, I knew that i had to buy a computer with a very fast processor and fast memory and as such is how I decided on getting this PC. The games that I have tried on it so far put a heavy load on this PC as the fan kicks in and there is some slow down after playing for a while, but it does not take away from being able to enjoy the games for me. The fan is not loud at all, and the PC gets very hot especailly during gaming sessions but as stated the slowdown is not that bad in which it would take away from the enjoyment of playing the games for me. I did a clean install of Windows 11 23h2 using a USB flash drive and it appears as this pc is using drivers that are not very well known as I had to go to the Geekom website to get the missing drivers. I am using a 1080p TV that I have this pc connected to and as such have no interest in higher resolution gaming. This pc has three USB ports that support power delivery but one of them, which uses a USB A connector does not seem to work for charging, but it could be that I need a proper USB A to C charging cable. So, in the end, while this computer can play the latest games at 1080p on medium graphics setting, I would not consider this to be a gaming pc for the reason that it runs very hot when gaming as well as there being some slowdown and that is my biggest concern with this pc as I will be using it to play games. The good thing is that it does come with a three-year warranty, so I hope not to have any issue should I need to send it in within three years for any problem that may arise. I highly recommend this PC for anyone who is looking for something small and powerful.

Extremely powerful and well worth it
This is a solid powerful upgradable machine that’s well worth the high price tag and because of its small footprint it opened up a lot of room on my computer desk while performing the same functions as my old Tower computer

no touchscreen functionality
The mini is great, fast and easy to setup. Yet it does not work with touchscreen monitor. Contact with GEEKOM technologist and they confirm this. Not good with mini at this point.Ps:Further investigation, actually the GEEKOM technical support team is not right. With proper connection and a right touch screen monitor, the touch function works.

powerful mini pc
Initially, I was disappointed to see such a small PC after paying a desktop price. But it is surprisingly powerful, just like a true desktop. I am replacing my N100 based PC, which always run at 100% of its CPU rating, most of the time. With this one, chrome only rans at 2% of the CPU rating for most of my youtube viewing. It peaks at 7%. I bought N100 PC last year, because it is fanless, and I thought it should be enough for internet browsing. I was wrong about internet browsing. This one is running at such a low CPU rating, that I barely can hear the fan noise. So my N100 PC is a waste. Should have bought this last year.Update after 2 weeks of usage: At the lowest power, I can still hear the fan noise at night, not during the daytime. This is compared with fanless, so not too bad. It is a powerful PC. I installed VMWARE + Linux and used it for software development. It is pretty fast, when using all 16 threads. Fan noise is very noticeable when over 50-60% CPU utilization. I rarely need to run at this level. Mostly, it is at below 10% with unnoticeable noise (except late night). Haven’t tried GPU or AI yet.

Geekom AX8 didn’t turn on.
I purchased this computer not intend to return after 10 days used the computer can’t turn on I don’t know for what reason the computer is dead. Can’t contact customer service so I contacted Amazon for replace another one. Then Amazon didn’t allow me to replace or exchange for another one so I had to return. I do love the design and the look of this computer. I have Apple mini M1 and M2 that run better than this computer. This computer after 24 hours used the fan kids in made loud noise.

Cute little computer
I wanted 64G RAM, but they don’t sell them that way. So I had to buy more RAM and do a swap. I was worried, that with such a small firm factor, the swap would be difficult. I have to say, this was the EASIEST RAM swap I’ve ever done. 4 captive screws and it opens right up and the RAM and SSD are right there on top. Perfect and easy peasy.

Connected this to my TV so I could download media and play it straight from PC to the TV. Works great! Can also easily stream from PC to TV media from Youtube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Channel 4, BBC Iplayer etc. Really good buy!

La caja donde viene el ordenador tiene un tamaño razonable pero he de reconoceer que cuando la abrà me llevé un susto, ¡me han engañado, este bloque diminuto no puede ser un ordenador! Pero nada más tenerlo en las manos se van despejando los miedos. Pesa, es robusto al tacto y tiene conexiones de todo tipo. Al arrancar se inicia la configuración del sistema y, una vez configurado, la primera buena noticia es que es una versión PRO de Windows 11 bastante limpia y que tiene multiples posibilidades de configuración para dejarlo a gusto del usuario. El arranque dura menos de 5 segundos desde que pulsas el botón hasta que está disponible para funcionar. En mi caso le he ampliado la RAM hasta 32 GB con dos módulos de 16 GB, ya que conviene que vaya sobrado de RAM puesto que lo quiero casi exclusivamente para edición de vÃdeo. Es silencioso excepto cuando se le fuerza a trabajar, por ejemplo en el renderizado de vÃdeo, entonces parece un fórmula 1, pero eso ocurre por poco tiempo. Aunque trabajo el vÃdeo a nivel de aficionado, es decir, que como mucho tres pistas de vÃdeo y otras tanta de audio y efectos poco complicados, he de reconocer que trabaja muy rápido tanto los efectos (seguimiento de objetos por ejemplo) como el renderizado. Tanto unos como otro lo hace a tiempo real. En definitiva una agradable sorpresa.Al principio durante algunos arranques se quedaba pillado y no terminaba de arrancar. La causa de este problema no era del ordenador sino de un HUB TP-Link con alimentación independiente. Cuando este HUB estaba conectado a la corriente era cuando se producian estos fallos. No encendiendo el HUB hasta que hubiera terminado la secuencia de arranque del MiniPC o quitando la alimentación independiente al HUB, aunque siguiera conectado, estos fallos no se produjeron más.

Estoy muy contento con el MiniPC. Suficiente para mis tareas de office (Excel, Word, Email etc.). Después de una semana hubo un problema: Se ha apagado y era imposible de arrancarlo. He devuelto el producto al vendedor y enviado mi número de seguimiento por correo electrónico. Soporte Geekom ofreció para ayudar / reemplazar, pero yo ya lo habÃa devuelto. Mientras mi ordenador estaba en camino al vendedor me enviaron un nuevo sin perdida de tiempo.Quiero agradecer el buen soporte de Geekom, en concreto de Karen. El ordenador es pequenito y no hace ruido. Perfecto para mi mesa en una oficina compartida. Recomiendo a este equipo. Y me repito: El soporte: Un 10. Un ratio de respuesta muy alto – contestaron en cuestión de minutos.
