Hard price to accept but it’s so nice to use…
I really wanted this thing to suck so I could send it back, but, it’s awesome and works great. Super sturdy, holds my Corsair K100 no problem and still has plenty of room for the mouse pad. I think even my special edition K100 with 18 G keys would easily fit. It is very well engineered and I was very surprised the cable was so well built and long enough to reach across the room. I think they should update it to maybe add on some USB C and extra more external accessible USB A ports. Since it sort of sucks to unscrew/screw the back open to add anything I just added a small USB hub for my HOTAS setup. I have a Wart Hawg HOTAS and I don’t even have to power the hub I added on. Is it worth the cost? I think so, I sure couldn’t find anything to compete with it and it does the job. It makes playing ESO and Star Citizen much better with a solid foundation under the controls.

If you’re thinking about it, just get it.
The cable that comes with it is very long and is able to carry enough power that I have keyboard, mouse, game pad, phone, and a headset all plugged in and working just fine. I had to add a small usb 3.0 hub otherwise I was one port short but now I have some extra.Build quality feels really sturdy. I bought the version that doesn’t come with the cushions and I’ve used the included velcro to attach it on my treadmill. It’s really nice and sits still and I have no problem leveling a character in World of Warcraft while walking on the treadmill now. I don’t review products often but I might buy a second one of these so I had to share. I had it in my wishlist for a really long time and wish I had bought it sooner.

No Pads on the Bottom? Come on.
Super well made and well thought out for I/O. For the price, though, it’s a shame there aren’t any pads on the bottom. Its very hot and pretty uncomfortable as-is. I bought a couple long keyboard wrist rests and Velcro’d them to the bottom. It makes it 100% better, but added a lot to the cost. This lapboard is probably the best available lapboard (RIP Roccat Sova) but you’ll need to mod it unless you are ok with hot, sweaty legs.

Pricey, but does exactly what it needs to
Seems to be an expensive item for something that’s effectively replacing a wooden plank. (definitely looks prettier than one). That being said, I cannot imagine setup without this. We bought it for my wife to game on her PC at the living room TV. The USB 3 extension cable that it comes with is plenty durable which is a must in this environment as she has dogs walking on and around this cable frequently. The plastic is surprisingly durable and houses the inner USB hub quite well. The ONLY drawback I can think of is the back panel plates. They’re secured with a number of tiny phillips head screws that make changing devices a pain. (while you probably aren’t going to change devices frequently, she has had a couple instances where her controller has come unplugged from the inner hub and screw removal is problematic given that the mouse and keyboard then have to dangle below the tray while you play operation with 20 screws. If they were magnetic or you had a quick access port to the hub via the top of the tray I think it would be that much better (maybe a gen 2 idea).Definitely fits the bill and is something I can’t imagine not having at this point.

    Decent sized
Pros: You can use a full size keyboard and mouse, integrated USB 3 hub, responsive, convenient 15′ USB 3 cable with quick disconnectCons: Price, no wrist rest or tray to hold keyboard and mouse in place. Full size mouse pad. Every time you move this thing the keyboard and mouse are going to fall off.Ok, this is definitely not for everyone. If you are looking at this, you have a very, very specific need. That is you want to be able to use a full size gaming keyboard and mouse (cabled) and want to be able to sit on your couch or recliner and play games on a 4K TV or something across the room. You want something fairly substantial in size (1″ x 14″ x 33″) that will sit across your lap and be able to play for fairly long periods of time. If that sounds like you and what you need, then this may work for you.If you are on a budget and want something cheap, then move on. This thing is way too expensive for what it is. Come on, its a hollow board with a USB hub inside it and a mouse pad glued onto it. Nothing more. No wrist rest, no rail to keep your keyboard and mouse for sliding off every time you move it, nothing else. For me the main concern is the size. I needed something BIG. Much bigger than the random imported stuff that Amazon is selling. The only thing I found in that category for gaming is this. All the others I have found were made for 13″ laptops and act as a portable desk or something. All of them were too small for me. Nothing substantially large enough to fit a full size keyboard and mouse. So for that purpose alone, this works. It is long enough to sit fully across the two arms of my recliner and let me play while across the room. That is basically it.Price wise – yes it sucks. But for me if I had purchased this instead of the 4 or 5 other lap desks I had tried beforehand that I had tried to get to work – it would have been an even wash.I am knocking 2 stars off for the price and the fact that there is no keyboard or mouse rail to hold them in place when you move this. Because when you move it off your lap (or even tilt it up too much) – its pretty much guaranteed that no matter how careful you try and move that things will simply slide off this thing. It’s basically a given.

Somewhat pricey but you will get your moneys worth
A fairly large board that’s more than enough for gaming and anything else whether its on the couch or a small table. The cable management makes it much nicer to look at too!

    Don’t overpay, this is great!
Not crazy about the price but seeing it in person makes me really happy. This is a very clever solution to couch pc gaming and boy does it deliver! I really like how you can organize and hide your cables. I’m using a Logitech G710+ with a Logitech G502 Hero and both fit PERFECTLY!

If you’re in search of a versatile and well-built solution to organize and enhance your home setup, this product is exactly what you need. It comes with 1 wire to connect to your laptop and another to plug into the power outlet—perfect for charging your phone or other devices, but only necessary if you need to charge. With 6 USB ports, it offers ample connectivity for all your devices.I’ve found it incredibly useful for transferring files from my laptop, which is set up near the TV, to my hard drive, which is conveniently plugged into the device while I’m relaxing on the sofa. The wire from the main unit to the laptop is impressively long, allowing for a flexible and comfortable setup. Additionally, I’ve connected a wired keyboard and mouse, and all the cables are neatly hidden away, giving my space a clean, organized look. This product has truly solved all my connectivity and organization issues—something I’ve been seeking for years. It’s solidly built and delivers on its promises. The only minor hiccup I encountered was that my keyboard and mouse didn’t receive power when connected through a USB 2.0 port, but they worked flawlessly when plugged into a USB 3.0 slot. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to streamline their setup and improve their workspace efficiency.

I bought this to replace a Razer Turret that just flat out does not work due to issues with the wireless signal.I currently use it with fully wireless peripherals so most of the functionality on offer is wasted on me. Such as the cable management, the USB hub and the long USB cable to connect to a Desktop. As a result it’s not great value for money for MY situation but if you did use it to it’s full it is probably fair, and those features seem well thought out and cables look nice and sturdy. My only real gripe with it, is that it’s much wider than I anticipated. I bought a TKL keyboard thinking I’d be pressed for space but in reality it would easily accommodate a full size keyboard, the default mouse mat, and probably a dinner plate alongside! It really is huge and quite cumbersome.I love using it for FPS games on the couch but for general desktop stuff or turn based, I still tend to use a much more portable keyboard with a built in touch-pad. This is a real shame but it’s just due to the size of it. If they ever bring out a more compact version I will absolutely buy it.
