Love these! Wouldn’t dream of using a keyboard now without them.
So a couple of years ago I managed to spill something I was drinking all over my keyboard. It never did work right after that and I eventually just had to replace it. My bad… I was clumsy. Still, I realized I had been irritated even before that just by how dingy the keyboard itself had started to look. I thought surely there had to be something out there that would protect the keyboard, but not interfere with my typing (I really dislike anything that makes keystrokes feel unnatural). Given how inexpensive these were, I figured they were worth a shot. Since then, I’ve gone through two sets (I have 2 keyboards, one for my personal and one for my work computer).No, these don’t last forever… or rather, if you use them a lot, the numbers and keys fade away and it just starts looking dingy all on its own. Still, it can handle a lot of abuse before you need to replace it (I spend a lot of time at my computer). Plus, I know from experience they protect a keyboard well from spills (I did mention I’m clumsy, right?). They fit the keys perfectly and you won’t even notice they’re there when you type. If you do spill something, simply wipe it up or even take the cover off and clean it under water… no big deal. Your keyboard is fine.Personally, I won’t have a keyboard without one again.

I’m quite impressed by the quality of this product. I’ve had problems with my mac keyboard before, cause if you wipe it down with anything that’s remotely moist, it’ll pretty much render it useless. It also is quite the crumb and debris magnet for getting anything under the keys. So, I wanted to get something to prevent that from happening again and actually keep the design integrity of the keyboard. This keyboard cover fit the bill.It’s a cool design and was easy as dropping on the keyboard to install. There is a slight gap between the cover and the keyboard, but it doesn’t effect me in anyway, because I keep my keyboard stationary, so my fingers / palms don’t nudge the gaps. It does come in packaging that if you place it on your keyboard, you’ll think, “CRAP, it’s the wrong size”. But pull it out of there, it’s slightly folded so, don’t worry, it’s the right fit.It does add some slight resistance to the keys, but I’m fine with that, because it’s pretty minimal. I actually also kinda like the slight grip from the cover on the keys, makes my typing feel a lot more direct and meaningful.There are some cool features, it has raised bumps at the F and J keys so you don’t lose your hand placement. There is also a window for the LED light for the Caps lock key.Overall I’m quite impressed in this product considering other variations often cost several times higher than it.I highly recommend it as a great way to keep that keyboard clean and maintain the minimalist design.

Very comfortable and would recommend
This keyboard cover fits perfectly on the iMac wired keyboard. I really like the color (ombre grey) which adds a little personality to my work desk. I have purchased a keyboard cover for a laptop and it really changed the feel of typing. Typing was slightly more difficult and it required more of a finger press to register the key. I was very surprised that this keyboard cover for the iMac did no such thing. It feels comfortable when typing and does not affect my typing at all. I can type how I normally type and everything works fine. It kind of makes typing a little more pleasant since the keys are softer and the clicking is not as loud. It also keeps the keyboard clean and I am not too worried about spills.My only complaint is similar to others that I have seen posted. The edges of the cover tend to curl up slightly and do not sit flush with the keyboard, like at the spacebar. It is slight and does NOT affect your typing. The cover sits flush and you otherwise would not notice it. I worry that if a large amount of liquid were spilled on the desk, the run off may still get under the cover. I do not intend on having a 64 oz, open top soda next to the keyboard but you never know what might happen. Otherwise, I am very happy with this keyboard cover and have recommended it to coworkers.

Exactly What I expected
This is the second time I am ordering this. I ordered on about 5 years ago in clear. When it yellowed I was able to clean it easily. This time i ordered the black and grey. I really like this color scheme.

Lovely Keyboard Cover
I like this keyboard cover!Not only that it protects my keyboard from accidental water damage, it also adds a bit of ‘color’ to my keyboard. The ombre color even improves my keystroke by providing a visual hint of where I should hit.Overall, this keyboard cover is a high quality product both functional and pretty!

Easy to read, perfect fit
I liked the durability of the black-keyed Allinside keyboard cover for my older iMac’s USB keyboard. While durable, they’re not so thick that you lose tactile sense on your fingers. Bought a translucent one for my 95-year-old dad’s keyboard and he says, “You don’t even know it’s there!” Thought maybe the “different” feeling would impact his keyboard use but it did not. I own different brand for my Macbook Air that seems even thinner but could not find the right fit for the other keyboards in that brand. I would definitely recommend these covers for your keyboards!

Make sure you order the correct cover for your keyboard. This fits Apple Wired Keyboard A1243 perfectly. I have managed to trash 2 keyboards from spills, hoping this will save the headache for any future spills. Bought this and so far it is great! I ordered a second cover for my work keyboard. It takes a few days to to get used to the new “feel”. For all fellow accident prone people, I highly recommend!!
