I bought renewed, very impressed
Overall a very bright, very clear monitor.I was not able to find the weight of the monitor without the stand attached online, so I weighed it and it’s about 15.4 pounds. It is Versa compatible however the mount is recessed so you may need to mount the versa mount to the arm before you mount it to the monitor. The existing stand is rock solid, very overdesigned.Pros:At first I was horrified and thought there was significant, distracting ghosting. A bit of rudimentary testing made me realize that this was due to a graphical bug in path tracing mode with ray reconstruction and other graphical options selected in Cyberpunk. I was not able to detect any ghosting at all with the naked eye in other uses, or with the offending options turned off in Cyberpunk. 165hz is attainable w/ DisplayPort and 144 with HDMI. The color is great and the blacks are sufficiently dark. I originally intended to spend some time calibrating, but out of the box it was effectively identical to my, already calibrated, secondary monitor. The brightness is great, it’s significantly brighter than other VA panels I have personal experience with. There is some variation in viewing angle but I can’t imagine any applicable harm in monitor usage. It is very, very bright and does not struggle at all in bright rooms.Cons: Frustrating to only have one displayport. I have one dead pixel (it’s defaulted to a very dark grey, is towards a corner, and is only visible in admin stuff, so I don’t really care). The built in HDR is nothing special but functional due to the high brightness of the display and not having any local dimming. Menu options seem quite basic, in particular I laughed at the enhanced visibility black option as it looked like a polaroid in the sun too long. It’s a bummer that the nvidia option is not available for freesync.I found out the hard way that 32 inch panels at this resolution seem somewhat unpopular and there are not a ton of options. I am quite happy with this monitor and would have no issue recommending it to someone who wants IPS brightness but either doesn’t want to pay IPS pricing or doesn’t like the color output of an IPS panel. The build quality is very reassuring, the stand by itself is near 7 pounds, and the design is understated, which I like.
