Runs like a dream! I just needed a separate adapter for the pin size.
This power adapter works great! I have an older modem/router that was using the incorrect value. I had a 12V 1.0 rather than the 12V 1.5 that was recommended on the bottom of said modem. The pin size didn’t match on this model, so I bought another 12V 1.5 with ten pin attachments. The other new 1.5 would’ve worked fine, with the exception that the cord was entirely too short!My solution combined the two: THIS 12V 1.5 with a pin adapter from the other new 1.5. I still didn’t find the correct pin size, but it’s workable. It just sticks out from the back of the modem a bit. My internet seems to be running much faster and a lot more smoothly.The two power adapters together cost less than $30, which is a LOT less than a visit from my IP and possibly replacing the modem itself. Thank you, Amazon!

Exact OEM replacement for WD MyBook Essentials 2.0
The discontinued Western Digital (WD) MyBook Essential 2.0 portable hard-drive requires a 12V 1.5A 18W power supply, I forgot the size of the barrel so I will update when I get that information but this is an exact OEM replacement. The power supply works great and has some good weight to it. The wires aren’t as good as the original power supply, sheathing is a bit chintzy, but it will do the job. As for the brand, I’m not familiar, seems to be a mass produced rebrand and Amazon is flooded with many similar items. I went with this brand as there were many promising reviews and I didn’t want to risk damage to my unit or keep buying and returning other power supplies that seemed questionable. I did not test the unit for accuracy (a little risky) but my hard-drive fired right up, no problem. As for longevity, I will update this review should I experience any premature issues. If you’re looking for this specific type of power supply I’d confidently recommend this item.

I use this to power a Matrix Audio X-SPDIF-3 DDC. It works much better than powering it through a connected usb cable. It has the correct voltage, amperage, etc., and is small enough to easily fit in my equipment rack.

Despite claiming to fit 2.5mm plugs, this does not. More waiting, more frustration.EDIT:The seller promptly reached out and offered a full refund. What a champ!I discovered that, by trimming approximately 1mm of plastic from the shielding of the plug with an xacto knife, this power supply does indeed work splendidly well with the Ableton Push 2 without compromising the plug. Obviously this power supply really does fit 2.5mm plugs, but is a bit short for some electronics. Cheers!
