Emergency crews responded to an incident involving a Delta Air Strains flight at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday afternoon, the airport stated.

All passengers and crew have been “accounted for,” the airport stated. A Peel Regional Police spokesperson stated there have been “a number of” accidents and no recognized fatalities. Higher Toronto Airports Authority will lead the investigation, they stated.

Photographs on X appeared to point out the aircraft the wrong way up and a minimum of one wing lacking.

The Bombardier CRJ900, which was flying from Minneapolis as Flight 4819, was operated by Delta’s wholly-owned regional subsidiary, Endeavor Air.

Delta instructed Enterprise Insider it’s “working to verify any particulars” of the incident in Toronto and can submit updates on its web site.

Flights to the airport have been halted as a result of emergency, and there aren’t any updates but on when they could resume. The airport stays closed.
