DON’T BUY: Can’t update Chrome on device: NOT a 2024 model (and mostly useless as a result)
I discovered the problem within my first three minutes of using the device. As soon as I opened up my first Google Doc, I was told that the browser was no longer supported. When I tried to update it, I was told that the device had received its last automatic update, and that automatic updates are only provided for 10 years, implying that this device is over 10 years old. I visited Netflix as an experiment and was told the browser or device is not supported. Taking something that you’ve just purchased out of a box and discovering that it can’t be updated, and that multiple web pages won’t even load, is a problem by any standard. We’ve been ripped off. Don’t buy.

Was in good condition feels like new no issues much faster than I expected after powerwashing settings and shutting off anything needed. Definitely worth the money does everything my main laptop does for hundreds less.

I got this laptop for our homeschooled daughter to complete some work. It was inexpensive and came next day so those were huge pros. BUT, I just set the Chromebook up and it is not eligible for software updates. I didnât realize that when I bought it, so I shouldâve done more research. Just know what youâre getting. ð For a refurbished item, the quality is good and itâs in good condition with no visible flaws.

Not a 2024 Can’t update Chrome
The device year stated 2024. What I received was NOT a 2024. Google Chrome OS will not update, tells me the device is too old and no longer supported. (Normally google chrome will update for 10 years from device model, or something like that.) I am unable to use google drive as it’s not supported with this old OS. Chrome will not update because device is too OLD

Easy to set up. i had samsung chrome book for 8 years and it was starting to fail and slow down. i got this dell for less than $100. Working great now. i am well satisifed.

Too used
The lap top keys are sticking and do not come back up after pressing and some do not work right without pressing on them really hard. The mouse pad is loose but does still work I just thought even with it being refurbished it would be in better condition. My daughter is using this for home schooling so I hope it continues to keep working.

Serves it’s purpose
It’s a decent Chromebook so far, but it has this peel and stick cover on, I assume to hide the scratches? The problem is that it the cover isn’t quite attached to the product, it hides the serial # (in pictures) and I’m not sure if the sticker will leave a residue, but will probably find out soon when my kiddo peels it off.
