It’s an absolute game changer! No pun intended…
I’ve never been into mobile gaming because I had always played on consoles, starting with the N64 that I got for Christmas as a kid when it came out, all the way up to the Xbox One. But when my Xbox One died, I never really picked it back up. I came across a video of a similar product and started looking at mobile gaming controllers and this Turtle Beach Atom controller really caught my eye. Everything about it was appealing, from the price, to the fitment, and the appearance. After getting one and playing a worthwhile game like COD Mobile, I have to say that I honestly doubt that I’ll be going back to consoles! I don’t have that much time to play anymore but this gives me the chance to play in the little time that I do have and lets me do it virtually anywhere! The battery life is incredible, it’s super easy to use, zero lag, and the overall quality is absolutely superb! And it all comes from the trusted name of Turtle Beach. I would highly recommend this controller to literally anyone and everyone!

Took a chance glad I did
I was skeptical about buying this controller at first because of the connection reviews. I went ahead and bought it and I’ve had no issues so far. I enjoyed using the app to find games that were compatible with the controller. The app also allows you to check dead zones and customize your sticks. I also read in the manual to make sure your iOS software is updated. That could be causing others connection issues. I’ve used it to play 2k mobile, Diablo immortal, an fps shooter, and Genshin impact. Worked perfectly. I love that I don’t have to remove my phone case to use it. I also don’t notice any input lag. I love this controller and I take it everywhere with me.

Good not great
So far it’s ok. I did have Bluetooth issues but found if I disconnect everything else Bluetooth to my phone it works fine. Had a little bit of toggle drift as well. I’m not a gamer. I work over the road a lot and bought it to help me play Minecraft with my son. Seems to work well enough for that. I’ve played a bit if starfield as well and it seemed ok. Jury is still out. Support from turtle beach seems nonexistent. I bought mine cheap from Amazon warehouse so wasn’t worried if it was perfect or not.

So after shilling out $100 to the ridiculously overpriced backbone, hardcore gamer a newfound mobile enthusiast that I am, I began searching for the “perfect” mobile controller that would suit me personally.After testing many brands I finally saw turtle beaches swing at this new rapidly growing market and said why not.I love the designFor a totally wireless connectivity device it hardly lagged my games at all. And the boasted battery life is roughly true to life. The action buttons are robust and the hair triggers are not too bad.Herein lies the problem:I have Huge hands. And am not a small man. So much in fact, that as decently sized as this controller is my monster mitts Still totally devour the controller when I hold it.On one hand that makes these Extra Large thumbsticks PETFECT. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for because much like the tiny plain bland backbone the sticks and buttons are criminally SMALL seriously what were they thinking. What’s worse is Many. The overwhelming majority of mobile controllers follow after backbones design of microscopic buttons.While turtle beaches sticks finally and boldly offer some true to regular console controller sized sticks and buttons. They had me sold.HOWEVER.So Sadly. The overall shape of the controllers body quickly falls short of ideal because of its flat bottom, rectangular shape. The lower half of my palms would often end up going completely numb from “falling asleep” because there is Nothing left for me to hold as the controller overall quickly becomes very uncomfortable to hold over brief periods.The result:I’d often end up missing my shots in call of duty because the right thumb stick is too low to base for my thumb to comfortably steer while keeping the controller centered to my palm without constantly having to adjust it in my hand. Not good.In conclusion:It could have been the oneIf only they had chosen a proper console controller like design with elongated stumpy legs to fill the hand which would also directly fix the alignment issue of the sticks.Could only recommend this to those with smaller/tiny to normal size hands but sadly there are plenty of better alternatives which makes this just another failed project imo.

Je suis souvent en déplacement et ne peu donc pas jouer autant que j’aimerais sur console, j’ai pris cette manette pour jouer un peu sur mon tel ( FPS ) et franchement ça fait le taff nickel !!je revendrais pas ma console pour autant mais clairement sur on a un téléphone viable pour le jeu, ça fait le taff sans soucis !!
