Nice laptop
Easy set up and a really sharp screen. Good value for the price.

Great Performance
I have been holding off for a few months to really get a feel of this laptop. It is not a touchscreen. The screen does have a semi matte finish to it which is great because I can’t stand light that glares while in use. Performance wise it has everything I need. It is different for everyone. But very compatible with your smartphone and able to download the apps I need. It is very lightweight, speed and resolution fits just for me. Battery time does last me 3-4 hours in constant use. I got my value for money on this purchase.

Chromebook
I love this chromebook. First ever. I like the simplicity and especially the speed. It is a great start for the seniors. I’ve used Microsoft most of my life for medical reports and occasionally legal letters but presently unwilling to have someone else in the background taking charge. So seniors this great for us.

Great Little Computer
This computer is perfect for my purpose. I am using it for school. It is fast and has plenty of memory. It looks nice and is lightweight. Charges fast and holds a charge for a good bit of time.

So far, I love it
I hesitate to write five-star reviews about products I’ve only owned for a week, and cannot comment on certain areas which would be concerns of many users. I do not use Bluetooth or the touch screen, for example. Yet I’ll admit I love the new Chromebook. My previous Acer Chromebook still functioned, but there were problems with it charging, and I decided on a replacement when Amazon had a discounted price. I’m still acquainting myself with some of the new features. I love that the keyboard is not as narrow as the other, and I can ‘touch type’ without having to allow for a tiny gap between keys. I love that it has the number pad and delete key. I use Roku to stream to my television, and the interface works very well. Were I so inclined, the wider screen on this Chromebook could allow me to watch programmes in bed.My only problem is that, when I signed in with my WiFi and Google information, which was a simple and fast process, I later was unable to locate many of my files.I liked my other Chromebook, which I used for years – and, though I hesitate since other reviewers had problems within a short time, so far I truly love this one.

What a Piece of EXCREMENT! DO NOT BUY!!!!
MY mistake was not taking all the prior negative reviews of the piece of CACA to heart. “Oh, their issue must just be a fluke.” “Well, all of these Acer Chromebooks can’t be bad!” Well, it looks like THEY ARE! My previous Acer Chromebook was great — just aged out of updates. Being a “seasoned citizen” I wanted to stay with what I know, so forged ahead with the purchase. Just a few weeks of ownership and it is terrible. Just freezes up for no reason; goes to the sign on page for no reason; shuts down for no reason. And, NOW, after spending hundreds of dollars on this #&*@, it shuts down for no reason — and WILL NOT turn back on! I’m typing this on my OLD, OUT OF DATE Acer Chromebook . . . Just great. Now what?

Screen color is WAY off.
The machine itself is great. Fast and has a nice size display. However the color is way off. I own an HP Chromebook. I mirrored the settings from my HP to this one, and it is awful. The color has been off since I got the thing. But it runs and does what I need it to do, so for $180 I canât complain too hard. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this I am all ears. (And please do not tell me to turn off the night light and warm the tone, thatâs not it.) The screen has an awful blue hue to it. I have tried everything Googling has to offer from going to the focus extensions to playing with he displays. It must just be this machine. I looked online and others were saying the same thing so I know it is not just my machine. Anyway. Other than that this is a solid machine.
