Tiny size – big performance
Like virtually all of the reviews, this one is positive about the G5. I had a desktop for several years, which I used for work and personal activity. Two years ago it gave out and I needed a computer for work right away, so I bought a laptop. I never liked it, but it got the job done.I saw several videos on YouTube about the G5 and, when it had the reduced price for black Friday, I bought the version with 12mb ram and 512gb SSD. Set up was quick and easy – the longest part was downloading the aps I use.I was surprised at how well it worked; based on its size I expected a lower level of performance, but it held its own against the laptop.I use it for work with Microsoft Office, surfing the web with FireFox, and playing an MMO called Guild Wars II. It does all of this well – I haven’t noticed any drop in performance from the laptop I was using.I would recommend this computer to anyone who wanted an inexpensive capable computer solution. I received an email (through Amazon) from GMKtec reminding me of their warranty and tech support. Although I haven’t needed it, it’s good to know support is there.

Great PC, Great Service!
This PC has exceeded all expectations. I have had it for two days. I can do all the usual tasks that I normally do on my Dell XPS desktop, like email, Zoom and Teams meetings, docs and sheets, with no observable difference in performance. I have not tried (nor will I) my firmware development IDEs or virtual machines, because I doubt the 12G RAM would support those easily. But all in all a great PC. Oh, and it fits in my pocket and cost $160!However, I do not write reviews. I had to write this one not because the computer is such a stellar value, which it is, but because I have never had such an amazing experience with customer support. When I first got the PC I had an issue activating Windows 11. I went back and forth with the customer service rep about four cycles in that first 24 hours. No matter what the hour of the day, the response to my email showed up within 15 minutes, was polite, personable, and had the exact right next step, until the issue was handled.This is just a great product from a great company.

Surprisingly good
I didn’t know what to expect but had to try it at that price point. Surprisingly good performer. Ran Win 11 Pro just fine. Video conferences worked great. Standard office apps also great. It’s not a workhorse like systems with more procs but for typical office work it is a great option.

Perfect for most people.
The computer takes very little space on your desk. Windows 11 functions well and the computer is plenty fast. There are three USB A ports and two HDMI ports with a TF slot included as a bonus (for your cell phone and camera chip) . For most people this is everything you need, even if you want to play some games. If high-end games are important to you, then consider upgrading to the Ryzen version of this computer.

I canât add much to the many 5-star recommendations about the G5, other than to say it is a wonderful front end to the Plex Media Server I am building, using an Asustor Flashstor 6 NAS. It is fast and very quiet, even under heavy load. What I can offer is my experience with the GMKtec support staff, which was extremely good.After initializing my G5, updating Windows 11 Pro, and updating the BIOS, I noticed the G5âs settings advised I needed to activate Windows. I tried all the usual fixes, and nothing worked, so I decided to contact the support staff at GMKtec. I had not read many reviews about GMKtec’s customer support, and the website was not especially clear on how to contact them, so was a bit concerned. I soon found I could contact them via e-mail, which I did. I was startled and pleasantly surprised by their quick reply. Only 26 minutes had passed…on Saturday!I answered some additional questions and provided some screen shots on Sunday. I explained to them how I might actually have caused this problem myself, filing that under true confessions. Shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail with a replacement key code, which I entered, and all was working perfectly again. Try getting that kind of support out of Microsoft!I highly recommend both the GMKtec G5, their support staff and, especially Julian (the Sales & Customer Support Manager) who assisted me. Julian deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you again!

This little computer is amazing. I saw this reviewed on a YouTube channel and was intrigued. He had nothing but good things to say about it. I bought it. Very low power consumption very low heat. Itâs good for an every day computer.Iâm amazed it actually has Windows 11 Pro.

Yorumlarda belirtildiÄi gibi ilk güncelleme çok da uzun sürmedi. 1 saat içinde bütün güncellemeleri ve hesap kurulumunu tamamladım. Hatta güncellemeler arka planda inerken gerekli uygulamaları kurdum. Ãrüne gelecek olursak 20 sn de açılıyor ve hızlı. Chrome da 30-40 tan fazla sekme açıkken bile birçok iÅi yapabiliyorum. AradıÄım masaüstü pc ye kavuÅtum. Küçük ve yer kaplamıyor. Boyutune göre güzel iÅler yapıyor. Oyun performansını denemedim zaten halihazırda oyun için bir laptop um var. Ancak eski DOS ve konsol oyunlarını rahatlıkla oynayabileceÄim bir makine. Masaüstü iÅleri ve bazen de televizyona a baÄlayıp IPTV olarak kullanacaÄım makine olarak aldım. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.
