    10/10 Gaming Experience, 10/10 Productivity.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this monitor, going from 16:9 straight to 32:9 – my goodness, my eyes have been opened.Beautiful QHD resolution, bright enough to illuminate a room in the middle of the night, and the high refresh rate is a given necessity for anything gaming. It was incredibly easy to set-up, just a simple plug-and-play! Some games don’t support 32:9, and I did have to upgrade to Windows 11 for the added multitasking. This thing is going to stay though, no matter what.

    Great bang for the buck
I replaced 2 x 24 inch monitors that had only 60hz refresh rates. I use both for gaming and productivity.I know there are better monitors out there, but I wasn’t prepared to spend over 1k on them. For the price, especially on sale gave it a “bang for the buck” factor I couldn’t resist.I always look at the poor reviews – some people said they didn’t like it for productivity. Not sure what they are talking about. Maybe going from flat to curve? But the curve here is not huge, and plenty of space for multiple open windows, especially using virtual desktops. Some people complained not good for gaming – not sure what they are talking about either. High refresh rate and gaming with games like CyberPunk 2077 makes this monitor extremely immersive. I tried non-3d games as well, and it the extra real estate takes some getting used to, but doesn’t diminish the experience.Knowing there were more pixels to push, I did upgrade to a Radeon 7800XL, also on sale at a great price. I’m able to play smoothly with Ultra settings with no problem.Overall, I’m very satisfied. Yes there are better monitors out there, ones with “taller” profiles some people complained about. But they cost over $500+ more minimum! I haven’t seen anything like this for the price.

Great monitor with a slight caveat
Perfect wide gaming monitor for the price point , best part was the built in KVM and type c connector to switch between a mac and a windows with the hassle of plugging multiple.45 inch is a a slight different viewing experience in terms of height coming from a dual (27) monitor setup or even a 49 inchThe only issue I have seem so far at times maybe once a month there a flicker on the screen which only goes away when I restart the monitor.

    Exceeds Expectations!
Had to retire my Apple Thunderbolt display after 12+ years. And Chose this as my replacement. Mostly for Development work. But a bit of gaming. After all the reviews, I was concerned about the height, curve and possible dead pixels. But all concerns were non-existent. This monitor is amazing. The curve is very slight and perfect for my desk and viewing angle. The height is a tiny bit smaller than my thunderbolt display, but the vertical resolution is the same and I barely notice. For database and development work it, this is a dream. The picture is crisp and I can fit 3 nice sized windows on the screen with plenty of room. There are 2 negatives, but nothing really to do with the monitor, just issues I didn’t think about. 1) no camera so I had to buy a webcam to sit on top and 2) on video calls, I can no longer share my entire screen, because my monitor is to large. I have to share an individual window. Oh and now my wife is jealous and wants one.Overall, I could not be more pleased.

    Awesome performance
Honestly, I was not shopping for the 45GR65DC-B when I bought it. I was perusing 49″ ultrawides, comparing specs and prices, but the 45GR65DC-B kept popping up. I had my heart set on a specific one from the company that makes the Galaxy phones but the price kept me from pulling the trigger. A sale came around on most of the ultrawides and that knocked the prices down a good bit, but once I did the side by side comparison between the 45GR65DC-B and the one I really wanted, I just couldn’t justify spending $400 more for 4″ of screen and a slightly higher refresh rate (that the human eye wouldn’t be able to tell, anyway). I am so happy I went with the 45GR65DC-B. The performance and picture quality has been incredible. The 1440K resolution looks killer in games. And it doesn’t hurt that the monitor itself looks sweet. Trust me, you can’t go wrong on this one.

I did quite a bit of research on Ultrawides before buying this one. Even the samsungs and asus 49s had absolutly horrible reviews. Many friends also has issues with dead pixels and monitors just deciding to give up just outside of warrenty.Well so far this LG is great. I always enjoyed LG and have quite a few of their products. Personally I tried a bunch of different games on this monitor along with different font sizes on texts or pdfs. I freaking love this thing, glad I sold off my three 27″ samsungs to get this one. Has been worth every penny thus far.I have also been tinkering around with the LG app “On Screen Control” to take advantage of the “split screen” options seeing as how I was replacing three screens for an ultrawide for this main reason. It works great. I love how simple it is, however I had some trouble finding the app on the LG site. After talking to a rep, it was determined that it was not available on the site for this model, so they promptly linked me for another model (the app is the same for all the LG ultragears) and it worked no problem.I also love the feature of being able to plug the mouse and keyboard into the monitor, and it just transfers my mousee & keyboard to whatever I plug the screen into. Even works while using Samsung DEX on my phone. There is also a way to get two PCs to work split screen on this screen, haven’t played around with that yet, but will get to it soon. I will update as soon as I get a chance to do that. (I do a lot of repair for freinds/family, and the feature sounds like it would be VERY helpful. One mouse, keyboard & screen for any PC I plug)I played around with the color/brightness settings till I got it where I liked it and saved the profile for my main PC. Personally the image is b-e-a-u-tiful. After Sony; LG has always been one of my favorites for TV. Well now they just might be my favorite for monitors.Unless you have an absolute monster for a graphics card… you’re not gonna be running at 200 hz while gaming. I am running a 2070 SUPER and I average around 120 on medium settings on most games. Only time I hit the 200 is when on desktop. I am running a IVANKY 1.4 DISPLAY PORT cable for this.It has only been two days since I received it, so time will tell. I have high hopes for this monitor and I hope it meets those expectations. I will keep this posted, because I am sure I am not the only one afraid to pay over 1000$ for a screen while all the other ultrawides let go just after warrenty.10/10 so far.

The monitor met all my expectations; it has a good screen refresh rate of 200 Hz and a good resolution, and the menu is simple, easy and complete in terms of options. My only recommendation is regarding the directional pad used for the Menu. It seems fragile, and I use it a lot, but it may be that it is resistant and only appears fragile. The monitor also works with software, so you can avoid using the directional pad for the menu.

Man this monitor is flipping awesome. It literally does everything I need it to do. I was looking for a way to not have so much wires everywhere with buying two extra monitors but this one 45 inches ultra wide took care of all that. I can easily get three split screens on it, perfect for my work from home job. I don’t have any issues viewing things like spreadsheets or monitoring tools. For gaming, it gets the job done as well. I play some pc games and it runs them well. I also plug my Xbox to it and I get a cool 1440p 120fps. I don’t really care much for gaming with it, but for work, this thing is a game changer. I will come back and update after a few months. I pray it lasts. I have always loved LG products because everything LG I own has lasted me for YEARS
