Great Design, Great Sound.
I bought these headphones for my son to plug into a digital piano. He also uses them when gaming on his computer. He absolutely loves them, and uses them constantly. I appreciate the design, with the connectors on the headphones. That way a frayed or broken wire can be replaced cheaply and conveniently. The sound is very good. I have a pair of studio headphones that I compared with these. These are significantly warmer, lacking a bit of the treble and upper mids. However, on music that is recorded less than perfectly, that can be a blessing. They have a very enjoyable sound that is super easy to live with, and they are a great value.

Better Than Most At This Price
Overall, I like these headphones. Still, at $35 one should adjust expectations. You aren’t getting monitor caliber cans at this price. But you can get a very serviceable set of everyday type phones. That’s how I would describe these 2Cans.They sound pretty decent. I have certainly heard worse for more money. Voicing is skewed toward lower frequencies. Not to say they are muddy or boomy sounding – they aren’t. The low frequencies are crisp and solid. But mid-frequencies are a little more subdued than I’d like. After a bit of time, my ears adapted and things kind of leveled out (the human brain is an amazing thing). So the sound balance isn’t a problem for me now.As for the build quality, I would say it is better than average for the price. I use these in an office environment on a daily basis and they’ve held up well over the past few months. But then, I am rather careful with them and don’t toss them around or take them places. They get used at my desk and put away in my drawer when the day is done. If you intend to give these to a teenager on the move or carry them around everywhere you go, your mileage may vary.Fit/Comfort is where these cans slip a bit. Ear pieces are up/down adjustable as they are for most cans. And it’s pretty easy to slide them to the right spot using the built-in detents. The ear pieces also twist forward and back which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the cushions are a little too small for most people’s ears. I don’t have particularly large ears and mine feel a bit crammed inside them. After a half hour or so it can get a bit painful. The worst aspect in terms of comfort though is the spring pressure of the phones when on your head. I have a slightly smaller than average head size and these things squeeze pretty tightly. Again, after a half hour the pain will have you wanting to take these off. There is no way to adjust this aspect that I have found. The best I can do is tweak the cans forward or aft a bit to decrease the pressure. But that ends up breaching the seal causing a loss of fidelity.So there you go. It’s a good set at $35, but it is not without its flaws. Sound and build quality are more than acceptable. But these are not cans you are going to wear for an hour or two without a break.

Comfortable if the size is right for you.
The sound quality is great and the fully extended band is just big enough to accommodate my large head. From hinge to hinge at full extension they are 29cm on the inside and 34cm on the outside of the band so there’s a lot of cushion. However if you have large ears I wouldn’t recommend them. The width of the inside of the ear cup is only 45mm and 15mm deep and they’re round. The 15mm of cushion is quite soft so they are fairly comfortable. The 360 swivels on the ear cup are handy and the band doesn’t squeeze so hard that it will make your head hurt. It seems they put as much thought Into the package as they did for the headphones but if you’re not going to keep the box for storage it seems wasteful in my opinion. All in all they are worth what you pay for.
