Nice wrist-friendly mousepad
My just-previous mousepad was getting past the point of being washable to fix its issues (snags, shininess) so I took a chance on this one. Fellowes has been a solid brand for eons (just checked… 1917!), plus the description shows it as an ergonomic improvement over a flat pad.It arrived today, and I immediately put it into use. I wondered how long it would take to become used to the wrist pad, and I’m happy that it’s only a couple hours. The feel and tracking is better than expected, well into the acceptable range. By chance, the wrist pad puts my forearm exactly horizontal relative to a comfortable chair arm height. On to the pros/cons:Pros:* Underside has medium tack to it, which keeps it stationary, but doesn’t become stuck to the work surface.* Memory foam pad feels like sorbothene, which is a good comparison in my mind; it’s firm but not too firm. It is gently curved and thus has no edges to dig into your wrist.* Tracking surface is a durable micro-nubbly plastic. The feel to my finger is just slightly rougher than denim. To my surprise it creates just the right amount of drag so the mouse doesn’t skate all around like it does on the desk. Other hard-surface mousepads I had (and trashed for this reason) were super-slick.* Mouse tracking (Logitech laser mouse) is quite significantly improved. Before (on the old cloth-faced mousepad), the cursor would hunt constantly when I attempted to make precision movements, making me concerned it was the mouse electronics… not so. This immediately changed when I use the new pad.* Attractive all-black materials with only the Fellowes logo, small, at the top per the image.* Thick and low-Q enough to isolate the mouse movement from the desk. Very thin mousepads bother me because they make it feel like I’m using the mouse directly on the desk. This one provides sufficient damping to remove that sensation completely.* The wrist pad is faced with an extremely smooth satin-like material. This is important to me so I avoid irritating the skin on my wrist.Cons:* Slight risk of delamination of the tracking surface from the base. Modern adhesives are truly amazing, but there’s a slight lift at one edge. It’s very minor, and if it does become an issue, I’ll put a dab of glue in there, and we’re all set.

Fellowes Memory Foam Mouse Pad
I ordered this mouse pad because my wrist was constantly bothering me after starting my new job, where I sit at a table. My mouse can easily slide over the surface and it can even be used for optical mice. The surface is large enough that I never wind up struggling to keep my mouse on the pad, but it doesn’t take up much room, which leaves plenty of workspace. The wrist pad is extremely comfortable, but it provides enough support that even after a full day of work I don’t have to worry about my wrist being tired or sore. The bottom of the pad is made of some type of material that essentially adheres the pad to your desk, but doesn’t leave any marking or residue behind when you move the pad. Someone who is constantly moving their mouse pad to accommodate documents, files, etc. may find this annoying, but for someone who generally keeps their mouse pad in one area of their desk, they will find this to be a great feature. All in all, I would recommend this mouse pad to just about anyone. It’s sturdy, stylish, and it performs to expectations.

Eleven and a Half Years After Purchasing It…
and it still works great. I just discovered how long ago I purchased this still. Still works great, feels great, easy to clean and almost looks as good as new. I have rarely gotten so much bang for the buck. Time to finally review this gem. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Smooth mouse sliding and sticks to desk
I love this mouse pad not only does it stick to the desk. The mouse slides so smooth and the rest is so comfortable on my wrist.

Good but a little small
This is my first mousepad I own that has a wrist rest. I think it is also the first one I actually bought, rather than just finding a free one being given away. I figured I’m on the computer enough where it is probably a good idea. What I liked about it is the bottom sticks to your desk VERY firmly, without being sticky at all. The pad hasn’t slid a millimeter since I placed it down. The wrist wrest is a good firmness and decently comfortable. There is also a coating on the area your mouse lays that makes it more durable and makes the mouse glide easier than if it was just fabric. My only complaint would be that the actual mouse pad area is pretty small. I often find when gaming or using certain applications that I reach the end of the pad sooner than I’d like with my preferred mouse sensitivity. This is made worse with the wrist rest taking up a portion of the pad. Also, I recall my hand/wrist starting to hurt one night after using the computer for an extended period of time using this mouse pad, where I cannot recall a single time this kind of cramping occurred without using a wrist rest. It may just be because I’m not used to the position it puts my hand it. We shall see.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

Too small, too firm
I’ve been using a gel wrist support for quite some time. I wanted to replace with one that had a built in mouse pad, but the wrist support is too firm. Perhaps the difference of foam vs. gel. It makes my wrist uncomfortable, and actually feel a little numb after a bit. The pad is also too small as even with the base of my hand against the wrist rest, the top of the mouse hangs off the top edge of the pad. I do have rather large hands, so that may not be an issue for everyone. I’m more disappointed with the lack of wrist comfort than the size issue. It seems to be made well, so if you don’t mind the firmness, and have average or small hands this may be fine for you.

Perfect size for mouse
The wrist support is great. Its supportive enough that your wrist sits comfortably on it. The pad itself has a hard type of top that your mouse will glide around very smoothly on. Best mousepad Ive ever purchased.

I never thought I’d write a review for a mouse pad but this one deserves one. I’ve used Fellowes mouse pads before but this is their best one yet. It’s not flimsy, to start with, and has a “sticky” (but repositionable) underside that makes it impossible to slide around your desk. The gel cushion is firm but not too hard and really comfortable to rest my wrist on. And the surface of the mouse pad is smooth without being slippery. I don’t know how this will hold up in the long term but so far I’m really pleased.
