Customers say
Customers appreciate the landline phone’s call blocking functionality and sleek design. They find it works well to manage spam calls and robocallers. However, some customers have issues with the display brightness not being bright enough in poor lighting. They also dislike the lack of readability. There are differing opinions on ease of use, sound quality, display size, and weight.

Outstanding but [maybe] not convenient
UPDATED REVIEW: Love it! I select the “answer phone” mode instead of “announce”. One ring means unknown, robo-dialer or telemarketer. It’s great. I’ll still turn blocking off when Mom’s home alone, but if I’m here, it gives such peace of mind. Get one!Phone is awesome for blocking calls. Using the “announce” option, callers have to press a button to announce themselves. Then, you have the option to receive, deny or send the call to voicemail. There’s another option that will just send calls to the answering machine. You can have up to 200 contacts and block up to 1,000 numbers. On the minus side – (1) it only works from the one handset, so if you pick up in a different room, no screening(2) I can navigate the screening options, however, I bought the phone for my 80+ year old Mom, and it’s too much for her, (3) I didn’t necessarily want to add inconvenience for ALL incoming callers, just the tele-marketers. Even callers whose numbers are on the ‘allowed’ list have to say their names based on my tests. And (4) the directions are hard to follow.I will keep this phone but will look into cordless phone options that have multiple handsets. How hard would it be to design a phone to only accept numbers in a contact list?

Good basic phone
This is a nice, basic phone. It was pretty easy to set up for this non-techie oldster. I like the pre-recorded answering message too. Has other features, like caller identification, blocking.

A good purchase.
I wasn’t sure about this phone/answering machine at first. I was disappointed that it did not have a battery backup. However, it retains the phone numbers that you put in it, so it must have a flash memory in it. So, if the power goes off, you should only have to re-do the outgoing message, you won’t have to reenter your friends/family/doctors/etc. numbers. As for the call screening… it is AWESOME! We were inundated with robocalls before getting this phone. We had already signed up for Nomorobo, which is a robocall screener (free for residential phones) that blocks KNOWN robocall numbers, but it didn’t work half the time (the robo people have LOTS of numbers to call from). But, this phone WORKS! It fools the robocall computer, but not actual people. It makes our life a lot simpler by not having to erase robocall messages and dead air caused by the robocaller attempts to get through. As for things I don’t like… the menu is not intuitive and there is no red light when you get messages (it beeps instead). We pretty much love everything else about it. Call and message quality is great! Big easy numbers and the phone is tilted nicely for viewing. I would recommend it to others, especially those that HATE robocalls!

Small & Light
It’s like a Tinkertoy. It’s small and light. Jostle it a little bit and the handset falls out of the cradle. People I called couldn’t hear me on the speaker phone, and I could barely hear them â with the volume control turned all the way up. The handset volume wasn’t much better, and the voices weren’t clear. The answering machine messages were low volume and indistinct. The handset is so small you can’t cradle it between your ear and shoulder. The display does not light up, nor do the buttons, so you have to pour light on them to read or use them. Only a tiny light blinks on and off when the phone rings. There was nothing I liked about the phone/answering machine, so I returned the item.

Phone works well
Phone was easy to install, the different ring tones are nice and answering machine works well. Only flaw, Iâve found is having to review instructions on how to delete call list.

Screen difficult to read, very poor directions
While the phone and answering machine work, the screen is difficult to read. The directions for changing settings are incomplete. The unit is poorly designed. I would not recommend.

I have 2 phones in my home, one of which is this device. Purchased less than 1 year ago. My phone line stopped functioning, and phone repair company attended and identified that this phone was the cause – but was causing a short on the line. Phone is not functional – less than one year old
