This little drawing slate is great. Affordable, no tech involved but completely engaging and easy to use. I’m not ashamed to admit that I spent a long time drawing on this little thing. And the kids loved it when I drew pictures for them. It also withstands some abuse and is light and easy to grab for a car ride.A great low tech option to stimulate creativity and imagination. This should be a must have for all parents!

Happy with this product BUT the color isn’t the same as the picture.
I bought this for my daughter that just turned to in November. I bought her something similar to this from a different company last year. This is a more advanced version of what I bought her last year… Everything works completely fine. But the color that appears after you use the pen, is NOT as bright and vivid as the picture for the item. Not only is it not as bright and vivid, it’s not even really the same colors. I tried to include a picture, it’s hard to tell but really it’s only blue, green and a yellow green that appear when you use the pen. There are no red oranges purples in the color scheme. Kind of a letdown. But at least she is 2 years old and will not even realize. And at least we’re saving trees. Which the company did a fantastic job making sure you realize that which I actually really enjoyed. Which is why I don’t want this review to be negative. So they get four stars because at least we’re saving the planet ð

Kids LOVE this!
I bought this for my 3-year-old grandson last Christmas and it is still going strong. He absolutely loves it, and he loves for us to use it together too. He will draw on it himself and he likes to sit with me and have me write the alphabet or numbers, or he will tell me shapes to draw for him. It seems to be indestructible as it has been walked on, tossed on the floor, thrown in a toybox, taken in the car, etc., without a problem. The battery is still going strong. Now his little brother who is 12 months is getting in on the fun and is able to makes marks too using the attached implement (supervision required so little ones don’t hurt themselves of course!). Highly recommend this toy! Great low tech buy!
