Was a great headset… until I broke it.
I loved this headset. It was the first gaming headset I owned (before this, I had a Skullcandy Crusher.) It was amazing. Sure, it did leave some things to desire. The microphone could have been better, according to my friends. It was very comfortable though, and it sounded great to me!But then disaster struck.This cable is DISASTROUSLY long. I had tripped over it several times when leaving my desk, but this time sealed the deal. I was leaving my desk to go to lunch, and the idiot I am forgot to take it off. It pulled my laptop off the desk (which is fine now), and it bent the 3.5 connector jack. Left ear had no sound at all, and the right ear was very crackly. Microphone was nothing but static.This was by no means the product’s fault. I’m just an uncoordinated mess, which is why I have now moved to wireless headsets. If you’re fine with a little extra caution around the cable, I say pick this headset up!

Decent sound, didn’t last very long.
Headset construction seems very durable. Was very comfortable and had really good noise canceling. Sound was really good for gaming. I see some claiming to be audiophiles saying the sound wasn’t good, but wonder why audiophiles would buy a $24 gaming headset.Now the bad… after 7 months, the sound and mic began cutting in and out. I traced the problem to a broken wire inside the sheathing, near the plug. I am not a heavy gamer, and am a pretty careful adult. The cable had experienced no damage/trauma ( I always use the plug to unplug, didn’t yank on the cord) yet somehow the inside became damaged and un-repairable. Yeah, only $24 but I felt that with careful use, they should have lasted longer. Definitely would not last long with kids/teens.

Okay. Iâm giving this headset five stars because my nine year old really enjoys them so far. He says they fit well, are comfortable, have a good microphone, and despite the fact that they really arenât noise canceling, they have really good sound quality. Now, we bought them to be mainly used on a Nintendo Switch, which does not allow for use of the LED lights and I donât feel that that was made very clear in the advertisement. I would knock it down a star or two for that if it was just me. Although my son is a bit bummed about that, he still enjoys them, and Iâm sure heâll be using them on his laptop soon enough.

This headset performed amazing audio wise, but what really stands out is the quality for the price. Super comfy and I dont feel like I’m going to break them when I stretch them over my big melon. I do not have to adjust the headband at all. These are big headphones for people who game with a head full of hair. The OVER EAR design make them extra comfy and block out a lot of background noise. Everything you could ask for in a headset at an amazing price.
