This cable stopped working after two months.
These cables fail quickly at the places where they plug in. I have had three of them over the last year and each one has failed within a few months. They either fail at the plug into the headset or they fail in the volume/mute controller.MOST of these failures are because the cable is simply WAY too long to use with a controller. There isn’t an option for a 3.5′ model, but there should be. The long cable means that there is more weight on the weak spots (connectors) as the extra cable drags it down and adds momentum to movements. This is a design flaw… the manufacturers should know that this is a problem and heavily reinforce the connections, but they don’t. They make cheap ones and you wind up buying them over and over again. If there was a better option I would buy that one, but sadly there isn’t.
