I was discouraged a bit due to an alert from Amazon saying delayed at customs . In the end package made , and it was in good condition . I used it to upgrade my vr machine . No regrets no sign of fault . All is working as expected .

Worked at first but then showed it’s flaws after 30 min of use.
I bought the cpu and at first I was quite happy about it. But even tho it was “renewed” it didn’t work for long. PC would turn off on its own and then it would freeze during the restart. This happened 4 times and so I requested a refund. Don’t buy renewed products. It’s a waste of time.

Basic i7 4770
Decent upgrade from my i5 4670K. Good performance with DDR-3 2400 Mhz 2 x 8G. Can’t overclock, but the memory clock control on my motherboard is throttled nicely with this. The system boots faster, runs cooler than the OC’ed 4670K, and uses 12W less power.This is just a CPU, in it’s holder, The use of an image of a retail new CPU box is a bit subliminal. The AD is clear that this is a refurb, but the box kind of implies that you get a fan or could at least set that flag in one’s brain.Excellent value otherwise and fast shipping. My first i7.

The i7-4770 cpu was a big improvement over a i3-4160 cpu.
The ad had an Intel Box giving me the impression the box would have a fan and heatsink. The CPU came in a brown cardboard box and the CPU was in a small plastic piece. My computer with the i3 CPU had a fan and heatsink so no big deal. But the ad is somewhat deceptive. The CPU came with thermal grease but I opted to use Artic MX-4 thermal grease based on another Amazon review.

I’m upgrading from an I5 and this CPU Pairs well with the rest of my parts only an 8% bottleneck. From the push of my power button to Windows is 10 seconds that’s 50% faster than my I5. I went from 25 to 30 FPS to an Average of 45 FPS and as high as 65 FPS, I ran the benchmarking on Ultra, it’s truly amazing. I’m very very happy with this purchase.
