Exactly what I needed!
I have had some very nice laptops that cost thousands of dollars. I also own a high-end Lenovo but this is my go-to. The Fiesta Red color is stunning. Boots up quickly, nice feel to the keys, track pad is responsive and the the screen is crystal clear yielding sharp, vibrant images. I don’t need as much out of a laptop like I used to (I am retired), but I teach English in South America and do lots of very complex PowerPoints. You can run multiple screens simultaneously with videos, easy to splice, computer does not “hang” at all. We Chromebook lovers know how great Google OS is…excellent security, updates only require a re-boot, on-line and hard drive storage, excellent stability. Chromebooks have come a long way and are biting into the regular laptop market and this one may surprise you. The metal casing is protective and sturdy. Screen is versatile and opens fully to tablet form. Touchscreen is excellent…what else can I say. I will update if I run into any problems but at this point I have no issues. Before breaking the bank on a “regular” laptop (and then you are stuck with Microsoft Windows and the crazy updates that don’t recognize your peripherals, screw up your drivers and generally suck), check out a good Chromebook. You will save lots of money and get a better machine with a better operating system that looks nice and performs.

Great, cute, light, and fast
Love this laptop. As you can see I’ve already decorated it. (Got the stickers from amazon) the laptop works great! Super easy to set up. Display is great. And I love the red color and lightness of it. I can carry it with me to school and not feel weighed down. 10/10

Great chromebook much like pixelbook go.
Surprisingly xlnt in all ways. And the price on sale at $349 was fine after having paid 1200 for xlnt pixelbook and for mediocre spin 714. Great back lit keyboard. Good touch screen. Fast enough – I couldn’t want for more really. No ports as is very customary on chromebook so dongles are needed for ext monitor and usb which isn’t an issue.

Very Good – fingers crossed
I purchased this on Amazon on sale. The value is very good. The design is great. It is light weight. The size is what I wanted. I am a bit disappointed in the graphics which I hoped would be sharper. My fingers are crossed regarding the touch screen because I read in the review section that the touch screen died after a short time. So far it is just fine, but it is a concern. I took a chance because of the price. I am enjoying using it for now. I had purchased a cheaper chromebook which was driving me crazy because it was so slow and clunky. I couldn’t maneuver on some website with heavy advertising such as the nypost. Also, the screen kept changing sizes and I could get it back to normal. All kinds of problems which made me decide to go for a more upscale book. As of now, I do recommend this model, it is fast and functional.

Perfect!
Love the color, the size, and ease to set up! Didn’t like the blue plastic credit card size item taped to the box as I didn’t know what it was. Had to Google that. It a free thumb drive that I was told not to put it for fear of malware.

Almost…..almost
Nice, light, fast system that looks great. Sadly, it arrived with touch screen not working. Also, pretty disappointed that two Android apps I use all of the time (OneNote and Slack) are not supported on Chromebooks. I would have overlooked that if the touch screen had been working.Apparently my 10.2″ iPad makes a better chromebook than this turd does.Returned.

Chrome OS is VERY LIMITING
First, the Samsung computer itself does run great as a chromebook, but only as a chromebook. My issue is with the Chrome OS itself. I use Microsoft Office products and that has always worked on my other chromebooks, although not always smoothly. This chromebook does updates once or twice a week and in the past few days I have not been able to use any Microsoft Office apps or web based products. I believe this is by design, Google wants you to use their Office products only. Google docs and Google sheets are terrible and inferior to Microsoft office.I do not like Microsoft windows computers, they are buggy and unreliable and have major security issues. Apple is too expensive. And now Chrome is too exclusive and limiting.I returned this item. I will try a samsung tablet and see if android works any better. Everything I use on my phone works fine.

The factory is using parts from the previous Galaxy, which is orange-ish, with the new parts which are more red. As you can see, I’ve got a multi-colour laptop that looks super ugly instead of super cool.

If youâre a chromebook fan buy it – if you donât use / like Google app ecosystem then itâs not for you. Screen is great. Build Quality amazing – the USI stylus you need to buy is a rip off – wonât work with any old stylus that well. Best thing is I love the keyboard. Itâs amazing. However The trackpad is rubbish. Get a mouse if thatâs your thing⦠But itâs not 16GB RAM as Iâm the title (says 8gb in the fine print – I should have looked more closely). Honestly if you want a MacBook replacement- this isnât it. Spend another $500 for something way more useable.
