Deaths of British couple in France being handled as murder-suicide, experiences say | France

The deaths of a married British couple at their residence within the south of France are being handled as a homicide – and suicide, based on experiences.

Andrew Searle and Daybreak Kerr, each of their 60s, have been discovered lifeless within the hamlet of Les Pesquiès in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Aveyron, on 6 February.

Kerr was discovered mendacity lifeless in entrance of her home partly undressed and with a major head damage and Searle was discovered hanged inside.

Police launched an investigation to determine whether or not the couple died because of a murder-suicide, or if a 3rd celebration was concerned.

An announcement posted on Callum Kerr’s social media accounts on 8 February mentioned: “At the moment, Callum Kerr and Amanda Kerr are grieving the lack of their mom, Daybreak Searle (nee Smith, Kerr), whereas Tom Searle and Ella Searle are mourning the lack of their father, Andrew Searle.”

It requested for the household’s privateness to be revered “throughout this tough interval”.

In accordance with Searle’s LinkedIn web page, he was a retired fraud investigator specialising in monetary crime prevention who labored at firms together with Normal Life and Barclays.
