Nice UPS
Got this UPS to use with my new computer build and it’s peripherals. I like that it comes with the newer LiFePO4 Batteries, as they are rated to last longer (advertised as 10 years), and are suppose to be safer. Pugged in, and it works great. Displays input / output levels, and Battery charge status. Plenty of outputs (8). And is it a bit small and lighter than I expected, but I guess this is due to the newer generation batteries, allowing for smaller lighter design. Couldn’t be happier with this UPS for my work station. There is not a communication port for a software link between UPS and Computer, but not a problem for me, as I don’t leave my computer on when I am not present. Gives me the power backup I need. Good purchase.

It works great!
We live in a rural area and quite often get power blips. So while watching TV or using VOIP we have to wait for the modem , TV and phone to reboot. I’m happy to say no more waiting. The UPS never even let us know. Stereo with clock is next to get plugged in. Wish we could get another for computer system. Ios takes forever to reboot. Great price, easy setup and quiet. Doesn’t look bad in the TV room either since it can’t be hidden.

Great product – need a permanent silence button
I have owned several APC battery backups. I went through batteries on them over time, and got tired of having to replace them. I heard good reviews on this different technology so I tried this! It seems like good quality and a lot of outlets for battery backup. The one thing that I am very disappointed in is that there is no silent mode. You can silence the beeping once power is disrupted, but since I use this in a bedroom, this could be annoying for a nighttime power outage.

Powerful and light weight
So far so good. Had the unit a few days and working as expected. Purchased this UPS as it was priced right. Much less than other brands. Has high capacity long life batteries and the unit is very light weight. In testing failover was instantaneous and UPS provided power and output readings as expected. Will update review after a few months.

Great Product – Awesome Value
This is a fantastic, compact, long lasting (because it’s Lithium) product. Having purchased new UPS back-ups about every 3 years, it’s awesome to have one that will last for 10. Highly recommend!

Nice design, good ups
I liked the lithium battery capacity, the look of the white case. Value was good.

Works great
Bought 3 of them one for pellet stove so that I have time to start generator in case of power outage. Other 2 for computers and modem/router. All 3 work perfect and last at least an hour! So plenty of time to get the power back on. I wish the power loss beeper was louder to wake me up in the middle of the night.

A great idea very poorly executed
I’ve been buying Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPSs) with heavy sealed lead-acid batteries for years. Every four to five years, they fail and I have to replace the batteries (replacement lead-acid batteries are inexpensive and easy to swap out). The possibility of getting a lighter, longer-lasting Lithium Ion (LI) battery appealed to me. I decided to try this one, the GoldenMate 1000VA/600W. Several things surprised me when it arrived. It was not significantly lighter than the three CyberPower 1500VA/1000W units I already own. As you see in the picture, the on/off buttons and status screen for the GoldenMate (on the left) are at the bottom of the unit while the on/off and status screen for the CyberPower (on the right) are close to the top of the unit. Since my desk is generally piled high with books and papers, having the switch and screen at the bottom was a problem for me (bad design). Also, the plastic housing for the CyberPower is very heavy duty. I once had one roll off of a chair with no damage. The GoldenMate housing, however, is quite thin and fragile plastic. It would not have survived that fall. With all the news about LI batteries catching fire, I had some concern about buying one. When this arrived, I put it in a safe place and plugged it in. Two days later I came back and noticed two problems, After over 48 hours of charging, the battery indicator was still saying only 3/4 charged. Worse, I saw that the display screen was cracked. Fortunately, this was an Amazon Prime item so I was able to put it back in the box and return it for a refund. I do hope the LI UPS units will soon be commonplace. But for now, in my opinion, this unit is not ready for prime time.
