The iMac “Core i5” 2.3 21.5-Inch Aluminum (Mid-2017/Kaby Lake) features a 14-nm “Kaby Lake” 2.3 GHz Intel “Core i5” processor (7360U) with two independent processor “cores” on a single chip, a 4 MB shared level 3 cache, 16GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 SDRAM, a 1TB (5400 RPM) hard drive and an “integrated” Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 graphics processor that shares system memory. It also has a built-in “FaceTime HD” webcam and stereo speakers. This model has a 21.5″ 1920×1080 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS display with a fully laminated glass cover and an anti-reflective coating. The rear of the case is aluminum and is thicker in the middle and tapers to a razor thin 5 mm at the edges. Connectivity includes four USB 3.0 ports, dual Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2.

Get it!
I needed an iMac in addition to my refurbished MacBook Air that I purchased six years ago. This iMac looks brand new, and I absolutely love it. It comes with both a keyboard and a mouse, both made by Apple. Iâm having some trouble programming the F1-F11 keys, as they arenât already programmed for some reason. I purchased this for my home studio. Great company and trustworthy.

Save your money
I purchased this computer last week and received in within a few days, great! I unboxed it and it was beautiful, great! Then I go to set it up and it has a configuration setting on it from whoever had the computer last. I couldnât click past the setting to continue setting up the computer since the admin was not active. I contacted Amazonâs troubleshooting chat, and while they were nice, they could not help me.I then played detective to find the sellers number, only to find out they were closed for the day. In the mean time I spent all evening trying to figure out how to factory reset my computer. DO NOT DO THAT. Now my computer will only turn on and load to a blank screen. I contacted the seller again today, since they are supposed to be open, and I am still getting a voicemail saying they are closed.Iâve seen good reviews for this seller, and really bad ones. Take this as a sign to purchase from someone else who actually checks their products.

Solid computer, bad display
I’m just way too used to my retina display on my MacBook. My eyes go crossed on the iMac for too long, I had to increase the size to read beyond the pixelation. It’s a solid computer, does everything I need it to, looks great, etc. No complaints AT ALL except that I should have gone for Retina display for more money, you can see smaller text/images very clearly and I feel like I’m wasting all the screen by magnifying it. But if I don’t my eyes start to hurt!!! It’s for office work at our restaurant and I only use it a few hours a week, but if I were using it more it would definitely be an issue.

Smooth Transaction
I am a Software Engineer. I have always dealt with Windows Applications never developed and a complete newbie within the Apple ecosystem. I bought this Mac to start developing the problem is that it was not the right product for my needs. Not enough memory was the main issue. I tested with the rest of the Mac OS features like mail, facetime, everything worked like a charm. I felt in love with the product but I had to be realistic and made the decision to return it otherwise it would be collecting dust since I use my Windows laptop and iPhone to handle all that. Again, I intended to use this computer for development and it was not a good fit for me. I checked online see if I could upgrade the RAM. This specific model had no room for more RAM 🙁
