Nice little computer for the kids
I knew full well that this computer was never going to be a speed demon. Having reasonable expectations is important, I think.I bought a refurbished unit (sold by “Best Tech Deal Corp”) to save a bit of cash. The item arrived promptly, and was well packaged to survive the trip.As I unboxed it, I found it to be in perfect, like-new condition. It even had the protective plastic film on all the shiny plastic parts, and on the screen. I powered it up and went through the Windows 10 startup process, including the inevitable initial Windows update cycle, and verified that the computer was working correctly. Then I installed a 500GB Samsung SSD, ASIN B0781Z7Y3S, using Samsung’s software to clone the data from the original HDD. That made things considerably more snappy.The main purpose of the computer is for my two teen boys to use for researching and writing school papers. So far (it’s been a couple of months now) it has worked perfectly in that role. I couldn’t be happier.

Literally the worst computer Iâve ever used
I bought this desktop just for online bill pay use, itâs calendar, and for Microsoft word. Itâs an absolute piece of garbage. Iâve owned computers in the early 1990s that worked better. Takes forever to boot up, and does everything slow. Donât buy.Update. One year later. Never bought a replacement, since we rarely use our desktop. My son worked on a PowerPoint presentation for his high school class. After spending 3 hours on it, the computer just auto closed all open programs for no reason. Tried to bring up the auto saved backup file, and it was corrupt.Iâve decided to go by a new computer, and will never buy HP again. How an electronics company, this day in age, can put out such a piece of trash, has to be purely for greed.

Good value for an all in one. Worked OK, spent a lot of time upgrading. Even after a day the hard drive was working even while the computer was in standby. Windows 10 is not friendly, especially changing over from an older version.

Trash is too good for this
Piece of crap! Donât waste your money. The discs fall into the monitor & you have to wiggle it to get them out. I wish someone would have wrote an honest review of how much of a piece of crap this really is cause now Iâm stuck with it. So very disappointing & my kid wonât even use it cause itâs too frustrating to even work. Please save your money.
