beyond expectations
I ordered the ‘excellent’ quality renewed MacBook Pro and it looks new coming out of the box. There is an after market charger that seems to be of good quality. The only visible wear is on a few keys like the spacebar. At certain lights/angles you can see the wear but other than that it looks new. The Mac runs as expected and the battery is holding. I would order another one.

2nd Apple Purchase From Amazon Renewed. Im Impressed!
2nd more expensive purchase from the renewed store I have made and I couldn’t be more happy.Last year I ordered a pair of Beats Solo Pro’s that were discontinued. They showed up in factory wrapping BRAND NEW! I ordered this MacBook Pro recently and I gotta say…. It did not disappoint! It looks new! Runs new! and has ZERO flaws. its not often I write a review on Amazon but this is noteworthy for anyone out there who relies on reviews before hitting the buy it now button.

Computer looked band new.
The computer came in looking like new. I was delighted, especially after reading a couple of previous reviews. I did have trouble transferring my outer Mac’s information over to this one, but that was due to my needing to update the operating system. I just backed up to a startup drive, which downloaded quickly on the new system.I did have trouble with a couple of USB-C ports not working to charge the computer. I reset the SMC, which fixed the problem. Once the charging issue was resolved, everything worked great.I only gave 4 stars because the charger, as others have said, is aftermarket. That would have been ok with me, but the charger works intermittently. The first night I had the computer, you could hear it binging each time the charger went out and came back on. Fortunately, I had my other Mac’s charger available, which worked perfectly.Also, the battery life could be better. The cycle count shows 110 left versus 1000 for a new Mac.

I just purchased the MacBook Pro (renewed), and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and capabilities. This laptop is an absolute powerhouse, and it has exceeded all of my expectations in terms of speed, reliability, and overall user experience.First and foremost, this laptop is NEW, it came with an Apple charger and what is seems to be an Apple cable, the display is stunning, the performance is outstanding, the Intel Core i5 processor coupled with 16GB RAM ensures that I can tackle any task without experiencing any lag or slowdown; battery life is impressive as well, however this may vary depending on usage, but overall it’s reliable and long-lasting.Then, one of the best things is the price, for $800 it is definitely worth the investment!In conclusion, the MacBook Pro renewed is a truly remarkable laptop that delivers on all fronts, I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Terrible Battery Life
Luckily, I bought this laptop for personal use and ended up with a different computer for work purposes or else Iâd be much more upset with this purchase. The battery life is absolutely terrible. It does not stay alive unless directly plugged in to the charger and when it dies, it takes an eternity to turn back on.If you need a computer to do anything other than scroll the internet occasionally, I would recommend looking elsewhere

Fantastic laptop
Yes did it come with a few minor scratches but over all itâs fantastic. Works amazing and with how much Iâm saving itâs a good buy. Iâm in college and tried to save up for a computer. And this one works perfectly fine for what Iâm looking and trying for. Heat level is a little on the high side but nothing a normal computer wouldnât do. Sound is amazing. And Iâm big on music. I listen to music 97% of my time.

I had some issues!
So when I ordered this laptop, I paid like 50 bucks extra to get it shipped to me like two or three days after, the day came and I never got it. So I contacted customer service they said my package was stuck at the shipping faculty and they would “raise a flag” for it to be released. I asked if I would be returned the extra shipping for which I was told I would get it back as soon as it was shipped. So bout 48 hrs later I still hadn’t gotten any updates on the shipping so I reached out yet again to check on it, they told me it was still stuck at the shipping facility and that he recommended I cancel the package, he offered to cancel it for me and I accepted. WELL THEN, a couple hrs later I get an email about how the package had been shipped so I reached out AGAIN and asked why it hadn’t been canceled (which was fine all I wanted was my dang laptop at this point) and she goes on to tell me that they can’t cancel things on their end… even though the man told me he was gonna cancel it. So whatever I asked about the refund for the shipping multiple times and they all told me I would get it back… I never got it back, they said in the end they couldn’t give it back to me but she wouldn’t give me a reason why besides the fact that is “wasn’t in their control.”Anyways long story short don’t pay for faster shipping unless you are okay flushing that money down the drain. The computer is nice, it’s in good condition physically. Not really any scratches or anything, but I will say the battery kinda sucks, it runs out so fast when I’m not even doing anything besides school work or watching Netflix, and it runs so hot sometimes. Definitely wouldn’t buy this again, but it’s not to say that I completely regret the purchase. If you are a broke college student like me looking for a cheaper option this is the way to go, other people in the reviews have had a lot of good things to say.
