Looks great and runs fast
The FPS change from a max 60 fps monitor to this 165 HZ monitor is AMAZING! Definitely worth the price!I also LOVE that it doesn’t have default overscan like my previous cheap monitor- works out of the box.Maybe the quality/thickness of the power cable could be better, but it’s certainly long enough for my standing desk. VESA mounting worked perfectly as well.

Review for “Viewedge 27 Inch Gaming Monitor with 165Hz/144hz IPS Panel “I don’t review most of the products I buy, but I try to leave reviews for at least some products that really stand out to me. That being said, I bought this Viewedge 27″ gaming monitor to connect to my Acer Predator Helios 300 using DP to mini-DP cable, in order to try and get a larger viewing area and faster response time to play Battlefield 1942 on my PC. I’ve now been using this monitor almost daily for the last two months, and it is very satisfying. I like the size (beats my laptop’s 15” panel), and with the DP to mini-DP connection, the gameplay is bright and smooth. It also has a higher resolution than my laptop’s 1080p panel, so I’m getting a boost in resolution as I play my game. I’m sorry I can’t get more nerdy with details than this, but for $150 (I was looking for a bargain) I am highly pleased.

So this monitor has been quite an experience
Ok this is the last time I write a review for this product because I think it’s important for any potential buyer to be well informed. Basically after a month using this monitor the panel turned off/on by itself and I found out that the display port cable was not working properly so I changed it to an HDMI cable and everything was fixed except for the support for 165 Hz because for some reason it only works with a display port cable. Overall I don’t think it’s a bad product but the cable quality that comes in the box should be reevaluated or change the display port cable with an HDMI cable.

Pictures are misleading – screen edge and bezel is much more substantial than in listed images, not thin at all (approx 1/4 inch). Screen is very blue-tinted; whites appear blue-grey-ish and dull. Power cord is quite short. Comes with a HDMI. As a monitor, it works, but not the highest quality – you get what you pay for.Amazon packing was very bad too – just two pieces of paper between the monitor box and outer box (no real padding, air bags, pellets, etc). Luckily the inner Monitor box was well packed.
