Inaccurate description
This review is for â 2Pack 40W Car Charger USB Câ. Despite the 40W claim, the rating printed on the chargers themselves says 5V x 2.4A, so 12W for each port. They work, I just donât know the true wattage.

At $16 for a set of two, I think this is a good deal.
As I would say with any of these products, youâve got to take that 20 W rat with a grain of salt. None of them are actually rated to push that much wattage if both plugs are actively being used. Itâs really more of a one or the other situation. If youâre using both it drops voltage to both, which isnât really a problem when charging something as small as a phone, but could be if you were relying on this to push a larger device. And basically eight dollars a piece, I think this is a good deal. They do make more powerful individual cigarette hole chargers, but thatâs not the target idea for this device.

Works perfectly, no weird messages about unknown accessories or randomly disconnecting. Fits snugly into the cigarette lighter/12V port. Charging is fast and efficient. Dual ports are great to have enough chargers for driver and passenger.

Affordable Car Chargers
Overall, Iâd rate these 3 out of 5 stars. This low-priced 2-pack of car chargers seems to be priced correctly and works as advertised. Theyâre USB-C car chargers and do charge my cellphone, but they arenât very robust. The description claims PD20W, but the output value on the side of the plug shows a 5V 2.4A max, which only delivers about 12W of power, not the 20W that Power Delivery (PD) charging would typically provide. Even the box they came in show they are a 24W model. I was only able to get 3-5 watts charging my Samsung Galaxy S23.That said, itâs still a good deal for the price. You get two car chargers that allow you to charge two devices, which isn’t a bad deal â just not actual PD or as fast as the actual PD specification would suggest.

Working great… with one concern
Love how tightly these fit in my car – nice and flush so I can close the slider over the top of the charger when I don’t have a USB-C cable plugged in – that’s basically why I ordered these.They seem to charge fine.Docking stars for a very basic reason – the title description says “40W” car charger and clearly says “fast charging”. While I cannot dispute the potential definition of this (USB charging, cables, and terminology is so confusing anymore), I assumed that meant it was a true rapid charger, or something that’d deliver what modern phones consider turbo charging, rapid charging, etc.. The chargers I received do not match what was in the Amazon photos – showing clearly “PD 20W” on the information images. You can see my photos show the same product, but do not have that kind of charging capacity.On the side of the charger, it clearly shows that each USB-C port can deliver 5v power at 2.4amps max. So, that should be 5 x 2.4 = 12W. Even if I double that, that’s 24W total. I guess if you take both charger together, your max charging is 48W of total charger capacity. Anyway, this is essentially the old style 5v usb power. 2.4amps is respectable for each port, but will not charge your modern iPhone or Android device like anything delivering 9v or 12v of power. That, my friends, is not going to be the same as something with “PD” next to it, which is power delivery, and I think I have this right – but do your own research.All I can tell you is these are nice – well made and work just fine.

Theyâre very light weight but theyâre almost too small for the port in the cars. They overheat within 5 minutes and are extremely hot. DO NOT RECOMMEND
