This phone is unable to connect to my carrier’s (Tello) sim card
As specified in the seller’s listing on Amazon, this phone is compatible with AT&T, T Mobile, and their respective MVNOs such as Tello. The phone does not work with Tello, my MVNO carrier at present. I have no interest in fishing through various, assorted, phone service carriers seeking sim cards the phone deems acceptable.I cannot return the phone to seller as I broke the Micro CD card caddy while trying to insert my 16GB nano memory card. If one brakes an item on a retail shelf, one now owns that broken item. I broke it, I own it.

I LIKE THE USHINING FLIP PHONE
I very much like the FLIP PHONE. Though I’ve not yet figured out how to use all features, it lives up to their advertised pros. Presently, I’ve not yet figured out how to increase its ring volume. Their instruction sheet is very brief, so if you are a newcomer, it isn’t easy to learn how to it. But for what features I have been successful learning, I very much like the product, The photo gallery pictures aren’t as good as those taken with a smart phone. But, again, I might need to learn how to adjust them. For the moment, I might give the camera a poor rating. –> a 2 or 3 star rating.

Nice phone
A little quirky. Opening and closing the lid doesn’t answer or terminate a call. However this allows one to pocket the phone while driving or walking to talk via speaker. Somewhat different in that the seem to preference calling back missed calls. The volume is very low and the speaker is required for most conversations. They seem to have slowed the processor clock speed to extend battery life which is about 7 days on standby. There is about 2 second delay when pressing any key for activation, many time requireing a second key stroke

This phone is a blast from the past with a sprinkle of the future! Itâs like a time machine that fits in your pocket. The Qualcomm Chip is faster than my old computer, and the GPS is so accurate it could probably find a needle in a haystack.The T9 Input brought back memories of college, where I was the fastest texter in the west. The big buttons are a godsend for my sausage fingers, and the Dual Screen is like having a cinema in my pocket.The WiFi is strong enough to download my favorite cat videos, and the Voice Function makes me feel like Iâm in a sci-fi movie. Do not buy this phone!
Bought this phone a month ago. Wanted to use up the month on my current phone, so just tried to activate this one today. Took it to T-Mobile store (the phone is unlocked and will only work with T-Mobile SIM). They activated a line, but could not get the SIM card to work. There user guide said that the SIM card had to be put into a smartphone, and then switched over to this phone. It didn’t work. So I’m out $100 because the return date has passed. Don’t waste your money on this worthless phone. I’ll never buy a phone on Amazon again.

Nice little backup phone to keep around for flipping open to make and receive calls. It’s got a rubberized texture over the entire thing, the kind that usually wears off and looks bad after a while.It’s very slow to start up. It has wifi and bluetooth, and there are menu options for wireless hotspot as well. The buttons are all backlit nicely with large fonts and are very clear and easy to read. The button presses feel nice.Removable battery and that’s where the SIM card goes as well, behind that battery back cover. It’s a pretty typical flip-dumb-phone with branding that I’ve never heard of.The camera DOES NOT WORK at all. The app won’t even open, neither from internal menu diving, or it’s hot-button. It acts like it’s about to go into camera-mode, then immediately reverts back to the Home Screen. I’ve tried everything, even read through the entire manual. There’s a lens and a Camera Icon, but nothing works. Weird.

Awesome starter phone!
I was delighted to come across this USHINING 4G Unlocked Flip Phone! The adults in our home for new phones. With the upgrade to our phones we got a bogo bonus SIM card that came with it. So, I saw this & thought this was perfect to use with that! I got this for my daughter to use. Sheâs only in elementary school so itâs not like she needs a fancy smartphone. Sheâs at the age where sheâs wanting to get involved in more after school activities, wanting to stay the night at friends homes for sleepovers etc. I got this so she could have a phone that was hers to take for those events. This is a practice phone for her to show she can be responsible to take care of this phone so when sheâs older she can upgrade to a smart phone.This phone works fantastic for everything I was looking for! After getting the phone charged all up with the included charger, I simply removed the cover so I could try to see if the T-Mobile SIM card we got worked in the phone. It did! It connected right away. It acted a little weird for a second where I could call that phone but it couldnât call my cell back. I just restarted the phone & it was fine. Thereâs been no issues other than the random hiccup that was fixed by just restarting the phone.The battery life seems pretty long in my opinion. However, itâs not being used regularly all day everyday. My daughter was so happy she got a phone that could actually make phone calls! She took it on a grandma date so she could call me if she wanted to. She called me just to say hi & she loved me. She was so excited she could do that! lol. We have had no issues with it, the sound is great, as well as the signal. My daughter called me inside a movie theater & I could hear her crystal clear.We are very happy with this flip phone! Itâs great for a senior or a kid learning the dos & donât of phones. Wonderful starter phone or basic phone for someone not wanting all the tech add ons. It works with our T-Mobile SIM with no real set up other than insert SIM, restart phone. I was able to talk on it after just a couple minutes of set up.Definitely recommend!

(I don’t take pictures anyway.)Missing: No flashlight on a phone meant for Seniors. Dumb oversight.Missing: FM Radio. In a hospital/doctor waiting room, it’s good to have.Start-up: Slower than molasses.Shut down: Faster than a hiccup.Negative: Fingerprint magnet. Brand new out of the box, it came with fingerprints all over it. Why? Whose?Atrocious: SIM card slot. Keep losing the cards, ultra tiny.Delivery: Amazon Canada perfect. The phone works well. I had it for 3 months and had no problems except for the random front screen freezing, but I fix it by restarting it. I only wish it had e-mail and you can see the camera through the front screen.
