Works perfect for a Raspberry Pi 3, even in a case with poor quality circuits
I initially got this as a power supply for one of my Raspberry Pi 3 boards, my biggest peeve over the years was not having a dedicated power switch on it. Works great for that.I also have a cheap NESPi case with a built in power switch, but the low quality PCB and wiring it it causes constant voltage drops even after soldering in larger gauge wires. The voltage drops are present with every power supply I’ve tried on it including the included Canakit ones. Surprisingly this beefy power supply puts out enough juice that it even overcomes the voltage drops caused by the cheap NESPi circuitry. Good stuff!
