Exactly what I was looking for
I’ve been in the market for a new desk for the better part of the last year and when I saw this desk pop up around $50-$75 less than other desks I had been looking at I jumped on it and I’m very glad I did. This is a larger purchase and one most people will be keeping around for a while so I will try my best to be in depth with pros and cons.Pros:â HUGE! – This desk fits my two 32in monitors and a smaller 21in monitor as well as a lamp and my Meta Quest 2 all on the top shelf. Still with room for some knick knacks.â Pretty! As a general rule I’m not a huge fan of the “l33t gam3r” aesthetic and I feel this desk strikes a tasteful balance. The carbon fiber top and simple black metal make the RGB strip feel a lot more subtle.â Sturdy! I can get pretty into matches of overwatch and find myself getting a bit…rough with the keyboard and mouse, thankfully the desk has sturdy enough of a frame to where the desk, and in turn the monitors, stay perfectly still.âSTORAGE! There are so many areas on the desk to display things and keep things near by, I especially LOVE the headset stand!â POWER! The AC outlets in the back are so convenient for misc addons and charging my phone. I also use one of the USB ports for the LED stripCons:â The mousepad is too big! This is really the only flaw I can see with the desk, the mouse pad that comes with the desk is actually too wide to fit on the keyboard tray. This wasn’t a huge deal to me because I am not a huge fan of plugging in my mousepad but if that’s a selling point then its something you should keep in mind.Tips:A few things I want to point out to keep in mind when building this! The holes for the LED strip retaining brackets and the holes for the keyboard tray are just small pre drilled pilot holes that you’re expected to hand twist a small small SMALL screw into. This proved to be VERY hard especially with the included tools. I can not recommend enough that you pick up a cheap Dremel tool or small drill bit for your drill to make the holes deeper before trying to screw it in. I tried to screw them in for a solid 20 minutes before busting out the dremel and having them all done in 5!This is a LARGE desk, it took me about 3 hours to put together. I didn’t list this under the cons section because its really to be expected with a desk of this size but I feel it’s important to point it out so you can know what to expect and how much time you might need to set aside.Overall I’m so pleased with the desk and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Cant recommend it enough!

This is the perfect Gamer/Office desk for Music/Gaming
I’ve had this desk for a long time and i love it. Great build quality and plenty of space for my things and speakers. The wing shape helps angle your speakers towards you so you get high quality tunes. The wrack on top of the desk is perfect for your monitors and the electrical outlets/USBs have worked flawlessly since day one. The keyboard tray slides almost effortlessly but sometimes doesn’t go back all the way in. Not an issue though. I love the headphone holder as well. It will take you some time to build it but i didn’t have any issues with misalignment or anything. Takes time but will be well worth it when you’re done. This desk works great with music production and DJ’ing as well if you do them like i do. Perfect for decorations for streaming shows.

An Unbelievable Value
bought this desk to build my new creator studio, i really didn’t have high expectations because of the price but let me tell you, this desk is an AMAZING value. a ton of space, fully supports 2 22″ monitors and 8″ reference monitors no problem. the built in powerstrip is super convenient, the included LED lighting is a pretty nice touch, even the LED desk mat was a super cool feature.I was trying to see if I could build it in less time than another reviewer’s, but he’s right, this swill take about 3 hours start to finish by yourself. It’s relatively easy with the instructions, just super tedious. I am just amazed by the bargain, a desk like this would typically cost at least twice the price of this one. it’s even super easy to cable manage it. HIGHLY recommmend.

Good value, some assembly fun
Fair warning: this review not for short attention spans.PACKAGING:Arrived undamaged but used a lot of extremely environmentally unfriendly Styrofoam that sheds little pills everwhere. These companies need to wake up to the fact that we’re past the point where this can be acceptable. Companies like Dell are using recycled and recyclable pressed cardboard for much more delicate shipments like computer monitors. One star dinged for this alone.HARDWARE:There are many hardware parts. A couple of muffin tins will serve you well to sort and make sure you have all. None were missing in my shipment – there were even a few extras. Illustrations in the parts list actually resembled the actual parts, unlike some other things I’ve had to assemble. The brackets that connect the wing pieces to the main part of the monitor shelf are machined with oval holes rather than round ones that precisely match the holes in the boards. Makes assembly more tricky. I suppose it was a corner they cut to reduce cost, but with modern computer aided manufacturing technology that’s a bit lame. But it’s not an expensive unit.ASSEMBLY:The diagram showing how to attach the horizontal desktop support bars to the legs is bafflingly unclear. You have to attach them at the correct angle – lots of head scratching & bad language before I figured it out. Don’t follow the diagram sequence. Skip ahead, lay out the bars on the desktop and line up the holes before attaching them to the legs. You’ll see how they’re supposed to go. See photo. The included cheap box-end wrench for tightening cap nuts is no good for some of the tight angles. Get a small 10mm open end wrench. And a small Phillips screwdriver- anything will be better than what’s provided. As other reviews mention, pilot holes for wood screws are inadequate. Carefully drilling them a little more will make things go faster. The assembly had it’s moments, but I’ve seen worse. The instructions could be improved with more detail callouts. The top wing shelf was a bit tricky to line up the bracket holes. Definitely don’t tighten any bolts until they’re all in.CARBON FIBER? DOUBTFUL.The top finish is a carbon fiber look but I don’t believe it’s really carbon fiber – unlikely at this price. Nothing like carbon fiber guitars I’ve seen. It’s slippery and smudges wherever you touch it. I opted for the giant mouse pad that covers the desktop and glad I did.DESKTOP PAD MINOR DEFECT:The holes for the cable pass-thrus didn’t fully align with the holes in the desktop (see photo) when the pad was fitted to the electrical outlet. But I can live with it. Still glad I opted for the desktop pad. I’ll get something else for the keyboard tray.WISH LIST: I wish they offered an option for pads for both desktop and keyboard tray. I’d pay a bit more.I wish the cup holder could swivel out of the way under the desktop.I wish it was possible to switch the positions of the cup holder and the headphone hook.I wish the assembly instructions were on larger Letter/A4 paper so the diagrams could be larger.I wish the rear screen thing had a gap st the bottom to pass cords through.LIKES:The electric and USB outlets on the desktop. Caveat: not surge protected. You should plug it in to a surge protector.LED lights can be controlled with a phone app. They can plug in to a desktop port & not take up a port on some device.Legs have levelers!Shelf gets power bricks off the floor and aids cable management.BOTTOM LINE:The finished desk is more solid and sturdy than I thought it would be given the price. It compares fairly well with a much more expensive similar thing from a different company I bought for a home office. I’m feeling like it’s a good value overall and perfect for my little home music production studio.
