Easy installation, lots of power for not a lot of money
Easy installation, easy connections, works well. What more can I say? I needed a new processor, so I had to buy a new motherboard. That meant a fan and new RAM. Since the fan did not fit into my case, I had to buy a new case. But my old power supply didn’t fit in the new case, so I bought this one.One star for me, for not doing all my due-diligence, but 5 for the processor which does the job neatly and quietly,.

Got this psu at a big discount for around $30 and honestly just wanted to see how well it handles itself. Keep in mind, I’m no psu expert so take this review as a grain of salt.Out of the box, I was surprised on how decently hefty the metal enclosure and weight of the unit was! Compared to an rm850x and some Apevia psu’s I had on hand it wasn’t on the same level of quality of the corsair units and it was far from the cheap feeling of the Apevia units . The modular cables themselves do feel a little on the cheaper if that adds anything in regards to the quality.Right now I have it powering an i7-14700k and a 3060ti for almost 24/7 operation and seems to be holding up fine. Have been in use for exactly a month now on this day. Also OCP seems to work as the system powers off when having two gpus underload.Only negatives I see so far with this psu it there being no efficiency rating and that the fan seems to be fairly loud or at least audible compared to the rest of the system hence the one star off. (Would rate 3.5 if possible)Honestly, If you’re paying full price I would probably recommend trying to get a higher quality unit (Seasonic, Corsair, Asus, etc.) but if you find it discounted, go for it!
