Quality Ram at an affordable price
I put this RAM in a HP Computer with only 8 GB to start and now effectively doubled the RAM now to 16 GB. Now I notice that I don’t have many issues with it hitching up and slowing down and a much better computing experience. I might even add another 16 GB at some point to get it to 24 GB or buy two RAM modules to take it to full 32 GB which is the system limitations. Easy to install though the computer is a bit of a problem with limited space being a small form factor desktop. However, that isn’t a problem with this RAM just a computer manufacturer issue in that they don’t give you enough space to easily access the RAM. Great little product and really affordable.

Removed 2 8GB memory sticks and replaced with these 2 new 16GB Sticks, My Dell G5000 Gaming Desktop is much happier now with 32GB Ram.

Exactly What You’d Expect
I bought this product simply because it was the same spec as the 8 gig stick that came in my HP pavilion gaming desktop. Taking a closer look at the modules on the stick I received revealed they use Samsung memory modules. There is no heat sink, which I believe is clear from the listing, so overclocking it may not be the best of ideas. Using it in my gaming PC I haven’t had any issues with it. I would have preferred a faster kit for gaming or other CPU and RAM dependent workloads, but as I couldnt afford a 16 gigabyte kit of 3000Mhz, this is a great alternative, especially compared to the “official HP” compatible RAM they wanted me to get. All in all a good, so far reliable product. The official matching HP stick, which I must say looks EXACTLY like this stick, just different brand modules, was OVER 100 BUCKS! And the timings and speed are the same as well. Even the traces on the PCB match, slightly different color PCB is the biggest difference. Good quality, good price, happy customer here.

A long awaited memory upgrade
The whole process worked fluently. The most difficult part about upgrading memory on a computer is the compatibility match. The chips were plugged in and detected at first boot. Memory was upgraded with no problems.

Not much to say about this — it’s RAM. Once installed it worked just fine and my PC has seen a performance boost from doubling the amount of RAM available, such as for video editing.
