Works great with our HP laptops
Ordered this set to add more memory to my wife’s and my laptops. Both are HP 15-dy2xxx series running Windows 11 and came with only one memory slot of 8 Gb. So I split this set and installed one module into each of our laptops to max out on memory (16 Gb). Installation was very simple and quick. Upon rebooting, everything works just fine and the system shows correct memory size of 16 Gb now. So both of us are very happy with the purchase. I believe the price was also very reasonable and would recommend this memory to anyone that needs to replace or upgrade their laptops.

Maximum RAM for the price
This is an upgrade for a 2017 Dell Inspiron 17″ 5000 Series. After a Windows 10 update, I can’t tell which one, noticed my laptop started to consume tons of RAM without any logical reason. So bad that after 2 hours of working I had no RAM at all. It just happened. No virus or malware present. So, I had 2 ways to find out what was wrong, format C: and reinstall Windows 10 or add more RAM. Second option was my best guess.Installed 2 SIMS of 8 Gb each, System BIOS detected new installed RAM as soon as I rebooted my machine and listed on the BIOS setup 16 GB of RAM installed, no problem at all, no drama on Windows 10. Everything worked as expected and now Windows 10 just consumes about 20% of RAM and stays there without a considerable fluctuating rate that makes my laptop to run out of RAM.So, far this RAM works really good, although I just have running my laptop for about 2 days, I have not noticed any kind of problem or incompatibility issues with the system BIOS or Windows 10.Performance-wise, I have noticed a little increase in response time with different apps, probably because this machine has a Toshiba SSD that makes it really fast when loading any program. Now, what I really noticed was a decrease on the i5 processor usage causing my laptop to run much cooler than with the previous RAM .For 80 something bucks you can’t go wrong, taking into consideration that buying the same amount of RAM with the exact the same specs direct from the laptop’s manufacturer it almost triples the cost of this set of 2 SIMS, so it really worth the price you pay for.

Easy to install and a big improvement in performance
My HP laptop came with 8GB of RAM, which was never enough from day one. With Windows 11, you need nearly 8GB to run the operating system. I finally got to the point where the computer was sluggish and had to be shut down frequently. When opening Task Manager, it often showed that my memory usage was near 100%. It took me a few hours to figure out the exact type of RAM I needed (there are so many variations out there and it’s not so easy to determine). What wasn’t too tricky was determining the maximum amount of RAM my laptop takes. Anyway, I upgraded to 32GB (two 16 GB modules) and was pleasantly surprised with how little time it took me (30 minutes from start to finish). The hardest part is taking the bottom off the laptop. The increase in performance has been tremendous; it’s certainly not sluggish anymore. From monitoring Task Manager, I noticed that my computer instantly began utilizing 16GB of the 32GB that was now available. It just goes to show how badly the upgrade was needed. The sad thing is that even today, HP still sells new laptops with 8GB of RAM installed. Seriously? You’d think they’d take more pride in their products than that. Otherwise, it has been a great laptop.

Great product (xps 15 7590)
Decided to upgrade my Dell xps 15 7590 from 8 gigs of ram to 32. Great price, fast shipping, easy installation (obviously or a seller thing but for those looking to do the same)Read the instruction to, if you remove there sticker it will void the warranty. I didnât notice that statement until after I installed and put it all back together.
