Smallest home server!!
After my 1-year-old Kamrui Mini PC experienced a processor cooling fan failure, I began searching for a replacement that would offer compactness, reliability, and energy efficiency. My quest led me to discover this product, which immediately caught my attention with its 12th generation Intel N95 processor and 16 GB of RAMâmatching the specifications of my previous PC but in a smaller form factor and at a lower price point.Upon testing, I was pleasantly surprised by the device’s speed and efficiency. It swiftly and cleanly loaded Windows 11 with a valid product key, even taking the initiative to remove some unnecessary Windows bloatware. With applications like HA, pihole, and Plex running on Windows, power consumption measured around 15 watts using a TP-Link plug. Installing Proxmox was a breeze, and power consumption improved further, idling at approximately 11 watts with the same applications operational.Weighing just 218g, the device is easily mountable to the back of a TV or monitor(almost the same size of a raspberry-pi-4 with a case). Equipped with an SSD (non-NVMe) and dual-channel RAM (upgradeable according to HWInfo), it offers versatility for future enhancements. The inclusion of dual Ethernet ports excited me, as I intend to experiment with pfsense/OpenWrt functionality. Additionally, the presence of 3 HDMI ports, while not personally relevant to my use case, may benefit users with multiple display setups. However, the absence of a USB-C port is regrettable. I am overall satisfied with my purchase. I hope it runs for a long time without any issues.

Compact for Everyday Use
Iâm impressed with this mini PCâs portability. It fits in my hand, making it perfect for a small workspace. Setting it up was easy, and it runs Windows 11 smoothly. It handles multitasking pretty well with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.Iâve been using it for daily tasks like web browsing and video streaming, and itâs been efficient and quiet. The dual HDMI ports are great for multiple displays, enhancing my productivity. Although itâs not suitable for gaming due to the lack of a dedicated GPU, itâs fantastic for lighter tasks.I donât understand why they designed it with a dual Ethernet port. The one downside is the limited storage expansion but I may buy another one to create a NAS.Overall, this mini PC is an excellent choice for basic computing needs.

Perfect for Home Assistant OS
This little machine is a game-changer for my smart home! I’ve been running Home Assistant for a while now, but this dedicated mini PC takes it to a whole new level. Previously, I had Home Assistant running in a Docker container, which was fine, but this is in a different league.First off, the performance is incredible. It’s super responsive, even with a ton of add-ons and automations running. And despite that power, it’s incredibly energy efficient. My electric bill hasn’t noticed the difference. What really impressed me was the seamless integration with Home Assistant OS. Everything just works. The Bluetooth was immediately recognized, allowing me to easily connect my devices. I plugged in my Z-wave USB stick, and boom, instant connectivity with my Z-wave network. No drivers, no fuss. The 500GB SSD gives me plenty of space to run demanding applications like Frigate NVR. I can record footage from all my security cameras without worrying about running out of storage. And did I mention the size? This thing is ridiculously small! It fits perfectly on my desk without taking up any valuable real estate.Honestly, I can’t recommend this mini PC enough for anyone serious about Home Assistant. It’s powerful, efficient, and incredibly easy to use. It’s a true plug-and-play experience that has transformed my smart home setup.

Great Desktop
First off, if you are looking for a mini PC that is just outstanding in specs for a home office computer, look no further. The entire PC fits into the palm of your hand and can be taken around with you on business trips so you can work on documentation and web browsing without the fear of using a public computer for privacy reasons. The HDMI port makes connections a breeze and I generally only ever run this at 1080p resolution, so I was unable to try out 4k video on it.The PC itself runs Windows 11 without any hiccup and has rather good response when compared to my laptop. This is due to the 16gb of onboard RAM that meets the need of any lightweight user on any given days. After a week of use, I also did not notice any slowdown as of yet. The PC is running as fast as it did on the first day I got it.One area that this is not going to cut it would possibly be gaming. You are not going to get good frames out of AAA titles, by any means, and the fact that this has no external GPU support is something to keep in mind. There is no Thunderbolt port on this PC. Running a popular open world space exploration title, I concluded that it is entirely unplayable. However, Acemagic never promises this to be a gaming PC, but this is just a heads up for anyone planning to use it as such. It was just something I was curious about trying. Indie gaming is a whole other beast. In terms of CPU performance, nothing I did on it that was for its intended purpose, made the cpu exceed 65% utilization. The N95 is a decent addition to this computer. In bios settings, it appears that you can adjust the RAM to a max frequency of 4800, however I do not want to shorten the life of my PC, so I run it at the factory set clock.I cannot hear the fan when this PC is running either. It is ultra quiet and does not generate a lot of heat, so I can tell that it does seem to have some sort of active cooling onboard.
