Solid PC
I bought this PC to use to use as a dedicated gaming for retro gaming. It runs Batocera wonderfully and seems to have no problems playing retro games up to wii u. I would recommend it. Definitely a solid performer and for a great price.

Works great – doesn’t take up any space on desk
Have been using the AceMagician PC’s for a year now. Bought 1 at first, then have bought at least 8 more. Was a pleasant surprise to be able to ditch the full size computers. Easily handles Office 365 and Quickbooks running at the same time. Have only had one problem and so far it has been a no hassle fix. Computer started smoking, contacted support, found that is was a blown capacitor. Exchanging unit.

Speed
Bought this for my 5th grader. I thought of buying a desktop then realized that they just need this for browsing and submitting their homework online. Finally ordered this one and was skeptical about it, but this mini machine is so fast. Itâs doing the job really well and never thought that something which is other than the established brand would work so good. This is just first week of using it. I would come back to update my review if it alows down or I see any problem.

Worth Taking the Risk so Far
Fully scanned after complete updates. No viruses. Drivers donât appear to be on the website, but after messaging them on Amazon they gave them to me without any issue. If youâve read up on this brand there have been issues with preinstalled viruses in Windows, so thatâs something to take note of. But as I said before I couldnât find any sign of them in the original OS. The N100 is moderately snappy. Things like loading after a restart drag a little if you have a few startup programs, but basic computing seems okay. Iâm pretty sure the case is metal. The fan is annoyingly loud. I have it on a tv and sit about 15 feet away, and whether it is in use at all, there is a constant low pitched whistle from it at all times. Because the fan is so small it doesnât sound like a normal PC fan. The pitch is higher. All in all, if the virus thing doesnât scare you off youâre looking at decent performance. I have a Beelink mini PC with a 7735HS that I spent about $350 on. On it basic web browsing, word processing, startup times are on par with my $3000 gaming PC (tower only). So thatâs probably on the range of what you have to pay to get decent performance. This thing lags a little, but all in all itâs not too bad. I couldnât get it to do 120Hz.

Best mini pc Iâve bought yet.
For all tvâs not connected to my gaming computer, I usually use a mini pc as a media/streaming machine. This is the fourth one Iâve bought from amazon (and each one being a different brand). This brand is the newest one Iâve tried and itâs the end of 2024 at the time of the review. I really wanted 16gb of ram, and the n100 processor is still the best sub$200 mini pc cpu out there.I think I got mine for $129 or $139. I purchased a $20 wireless keyboard with trackpad separately, nothing else is needed at all, except the TV. I put movies on usb sticks, 4k for that, stream online. 16gb is the perfect amount of ram for that, and also a steal at this price point.I donât care what anyone says, I love windows 11, disable some of the crap it comes with to start and itâs a very stable OS. All my TVs have a mini pc now, I donât need another at the moment. I would definitely buy another one of these if one of my older mini pcâs died. Especially if itâs on sale.

Perhaps I received a defective one?
For the specs of the unit (N100, 12gb ddr5, m.2 ssd) this device is exceedingly slow. My only guess is that the hard drive in these units (G521N 256G, a SATA m.2) is what is holding the unit back. They even have stickers on it saying not to connect it to the internet as this may slow down it’s initial start even further. They sure were correct about that, it took forever to initially start up. Given the unknown amount of possible updates that would need to be performed, the first thing I did was to create a USB restore drive. After 6 hours, with it still not completed, I went to bed. I tried updating the system afterwards and it’s been having issues with updating to 23h2 (leaving 24h2 also to be installed afterwards). On top of this the fan already is starting to have a little warble in its tone, leaving concerns as to its durability and if it can be left on 24/7. I was intending on trying out a virtual machine of ubuuntu before actually switching the OS to it, but I didn’t even get that far as it’s been days just trying to get it updated and the additional windows components installed that its not worth it. I’m now 30 minutes into the reset to factory from local drive reset option in Windows and it’s only at 16%…I didn’t run these myself so I can’t verify (as I didn’t want to add unnecessary wear to the drive for a unit I can’t justify keeping), Passmark’s records for a drive with that model number report it having tested at:Sequential Read 510 MBytes/SecSequential Write 419 MBytes/SecRandom Seek Read Write (IOPS 32KQD20) 68 MBytes/SecIOPS 4KQD1 8 MBytes/SecOverall score: 3181(for comparison, SK Hynix BC711 128gb, $19.99 on Amazon currently – 9826 Overall Score)Pros: They’re forthcoming with the warning sticker on the system. Perhaps with an nvme ssd it would be more responsive. So long as you’re not interacting with the storage it seems pretty responsive. Actually has a full version of Windows 11 pro, which would allow for using virtual machines, etc. Doesn’t seem to contain any bloatware.Cons: What I described above. If the unit itself isn’t defective (and I’m not sure given that they do warn about how long things might take), my guess is that it’s severely slowed down by the sata m.2 ssd. If that’s the case, replacing the drive may make it a great little unit. My future development suggestions would be to drop 2 of the hdmi ports and add a single displayport as I don’t think this system has the muscle to drive 3 monitors at high resolutions. This would allow for using whichever connection method the buyer has with their existing monitor while allowing for the option for 2 displays. Switching to mini versions and possibly a usb-c would be great but that’s likely too cost prohibitive without having to increase the msrp. Dropping the ssd size to say 128gb to upgrade it to nvme instead of sata would also be likely worth it.And another 20 minutes later, it’s now at 56% of the reset process from 16%…

Great as a Plex server!
I did a fresh Windows 11 install with this, just to be safe. Though it didn’t come with any bloatware or anything, so it was likely fine. I just use this as a Plex server, and for some online storage. It seems to work great! I have it running 24/7, and I’ve run into no issues with it. Hardware transcoding works well for Plex, and I can access my files from my main PC just fine. It runs cool and seems to be perfectly happy running in a little side closet. I got this on a pretty good deal, and the price seems kind of inconsistent so be mindful of that. Otherwise, it is an awesome choice for a light use PC.

Really impressed with this mini pc so far! It’s whisper quiet, maybe it will get louder if I push it with games or something but for the regular day to day stuff I use it for, I don’t hear it at all. On top of being very quiet, its very small, which is what you want in a mini pc. Its kind of ridiculous how small it is for how many ports it still has. 3 hdmi slots of a lot, I definitely won’t be using them all but more is better than not enough. The 3 usb ports isn’t a lot but I’m going to order a little usb hub and I’ll be all set.Don’t forget to fully update windows when you get it. There is a pretty major windows 11 update waiting for you when you first set it up. Set up was very easy, just plug and play basically, say no to all the diagnostic and tracking windows tries to get permission to do and you’re good to go.I don’t do much pc gaming, I use consoles for that, but this isn’t a gaming machine so I wouldn’t be trying to play AAA titles on this little guy, but running 30 firefox tabs, multiple browsers at times, discord, streaming videos, downloading, all the regular stuff I do so far has been handled no problem.I bought it on sale so keep an eye out for sales, (I use the keepa price tracker extension)Its crazy thinking back to how expensive my average computer has been over the last 20 or so years, and now I can get something the size of the mouse thats fast and quiet for 200 bucks! My only gripe really is that the power cord plugs in to the back, and hdmi is on one side and usb on the other side, so you end up with cables coming out of 3 out of 4 sides of the computer, not the most aesthetically pleasing, but its small enough that you can just hide the whole thing if you want to. Its not like this is some fancy pc tower with flashy lights all over the place that I’m trying to show off so its not a big deal.

First things first. 1. Get the Windows 11 Pro operational. 2. Scan the entire computer for malware. Used 4 leading malware scanners each showing negative (NO malware). 3. Get rid of all bloated software. Done. 4. Proceed with the installation of the project’s required software and apps. This tiny powerhouse will be used as a NAS/Backup, File Server, VR Server, and Home Security system. So far managed to install Windows Subsystem for Android to display all Security cameras on its virtual screen previously visible on the cell phones only. Runs smoothly on all networked DeskTops with camera control for panning and optical zooming. The next project is to set up a NAS-style backup system for all networked computers. 8TB hard drive is now backing up files and overnight pushes them to another NAS backup storage (for a total of 3 backups). Works very well. The next project is to provide a file (musical scores) server to 3 keyboards equipped with viewers. The next project will be to act as a server for Virtual Reality goggles. And there will be many other applications running on it, in the future. There were some reports of malware issues on AceMagitian computers, that may/may not be malware, but for a piece-of-mind malware test is highly recommended.I am recommending the purchase.

I didn’t see anything about a mounting bracket, it’s included which is great if you want to mount it behind the TV. This device is very quiet with a fan compared to another mini pc previously purchased. The form factor is excellent with the available inputs that includes dual ethernet ports. Used for streaming, it has been working well. If someone wanted to use this mini PC as a portable device, it should be no issue once you pack your cables to attach to an external monitor/TV for presentations,or entertainment when traveling.

I bought this for my parents to replace a desktop computer that was starting to run slow. I set it up for them and I was very surprised how snappy it was for something in such a small form factor. The triple monitor set-up works well and the dual ethernet ports give the computer a very stable internet connection. I didn’t get a chance to try the wi-fi, but I’m sure it’s just as good (or better). I don’t think it’d be great for gaming, especially not modern AAA titles, but some older retro stuff I’m sure it can handle with no problems. I also took advantage of the coupon they had with it that knocked off $100, but even at full price it’s a great deal. Anyone that needs a small desktop computer should check this out.

The box seemed so small I wondered if this would be a useful computer. After unboxing and set up I no longer have concerns. No bloatware and all necessary upgrades were done on boot up. If you’re looking for a gaming machine or video editor, look elsewhere. For everyday office work this is a very capable machine. 3 hdmi ports is why I purchased it and it works great. I can watch a movie on one screen and work from home on the other 2 monitors. Handles multi task with no problems. I do find it bogs down on some excel spreadsheets that are large but I think it’s partly a function of excel’s inefficiency as my work laptop bogs down on the same file. Truly amazed at all the ports built into the small format. The build quality is quite good. The fan is quiet. I mounted it under the desk hidden away but make sure there’s enough ventilation to keep it cool. Because of all the ports on all sides of the box, it could look like a messy spider with cables going everywhere. Very happy with this PC as my everyday general use computer… to stream, browse and do some work it’s very capable.
