Somewhat outdated now
Personally never was a fan of Chromebooks OS because it’s so limited on what you can versus a full Windows. This is pretty outdated now in terms of hardware and build. The thick bezels are definitely a turn off and the low resolution. The IPS display is still decent. This was definitely a major upgrade from the original Samsung Chromebook that was first released, but that’s not saying much.It is touchscreen so that is definitely a plus. However, it’s really for light browsing and some basic Youtube streaming. Nowadays, smartphones have better specs than these.

Love it!
The only quirk, which I have yet to discover, is the shift lock. Lightweight, fast, easy to use

DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS CREEPY THING. It’s not worth it, even if they give it to you for free.
I bought this for my 7 year old daughter because – let’s face it- it’s very cheap. It was horrible. To put it in perspective, I have never posted a negative review but feel so strongly about the flaws in this product I had to share it.The response time was so painfully slow. My daughter only uses her computer for very simple online, web-based elementary school games (anyone know Animal Jam?). Nothing demanding at all. Any web browsing made me feel like I was in the late 1980’s tapping my finger on the desk, waiting, waiting, waiting. That’s been unacceptable since the turn of the century.Every few minutes an advertisement popped up on the screen that was impossible to shut down until it ended. Trying to shut it down just made a new browser window open for the advertised product which slowed the computer down even more. My smallest complaint was that it felt very cheaply built. I didn’t own it long enough to find out but it’s likely that thing would not have lasted very long at all.DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS CREEPY THING. It’s not worth it, even if they give it to you for free.

Great screen and size, weak CPU
I was looking for a small, lightweight, compact Chromebook I could keep in the living room to use with my Chromecast. Only downside is the relatively weak CPU. Had I known more than one Chrome tab open would drag down the speed, I would have sacrificed some size for more power. Other than that, it’s great.

Does NOT run Android Apps from the Google Play Store, although the description says it will. It will NOT…I returned this.
This may be a lovely computer, but I wanted a chromebook that would run Android Apps from the Google Play store. (like Android phones run). It CLEARLY states in the description above: (and I quote) “In addition to the apps in Chrome Web Store, you can now get a full access to more than 2 million of Android apps from Google Play Store to learn and do more.” I have another Chromebook, the Acer R11 that DOES have the ability to run Android Apps. So I ordered this one for my hubby, but when I got it, I soon discovered that it does NOT have the ability to run Android Apps from Google Play Store. (not all Chromebooks can). I actually went online and chatted with Acer support, and they confirmed to me that this model does NOT have that ability. So I returned it for a full refund and then ordered another Acer R11 Chromebook.
