Good choice for college students
I’ve been using this for almost a month now, but I’m very happy with the price I got it at. Honestly it’s very good overall it’s very light so not much more weight to carry from class to class, boots up very fast even with 10 tabs of chrome open, The build quality is good for the price (personally a fan of how it looks and feels), and runs smoothly with the full college load thrown at it (YouTube, Multiple tabs open in Google Chrome, including in-depth webpages like Zybook, and even play Roblox pretty competently.), The only thing of note would be the storage, but with how cheap Micro SD cards you can easily double/triple your storage.

Acer chromebook order
My original Acer order never received an email confirmation. I called Amazon customer service to figure out what was going on, cancelled the order, requested my credit card to issue a new credit card, fearing some kind of scam, and reordered the Acer. Amazon Customer Service was very helpful. This reorder did get an email confirmation. I ultimately found two Acer’s at my door. Called for a return label, and returned one Acer at UPS/ Michael’s Store. So far, I have not heard whether it was received, and no refund is showing in my account so far. The five stars are for Custoer Service. The product works fine, haven’t used it long enough yet, but lit seems better made than my old HP chromebook.

Bricked after 4 weeks of use
Bought for 7th grader. Was working fine, then one night after homework, it just stopped working. It will not boot up. Will not do hard reset.Avoid.

I am very happy with this computer. I like the touchscreen, the size and weight, and the keyboard. I like the fact that it came with a computer sleeve for when I travel. I do not like the fact that it does not have a key for delete but it isn’t a big issue.

My first Chromebook
I’ve used Windows PCs and laptops forever, so I was a little wary of switching things up at first. But I really didn’t need any native Windows applications anymore and I already keep everything important on my Google Drive, so I decided to take the plunge.I’m using an external USB keyboard (Kinesis) and mouse (generic USB) as well as a second monitor (HDMI). All of these are working perfectly through either of the 2 USB-C docking stations I’ve tested this with, although I did have to burp my keyboard back to its factory settings at one point while I was getting everything set up and updated.Overall, I’m very happy with my decision. The UX of the new device feels almost identical to what my old laptop felt like before it died its slow death, right down to all the keystroke shortcuts. I have had to learn a few things about what works from the app store and what doesn’t (for example Google Sheets works badly from the app store, but great from within the Chrome browser), but overall it’s been a pretty seamless transition.I have no idea whether this Chromebook is significantly better or worse than others out there, but so far it’s great for what I’m doing. It also looks like it will be getting software updates from Google for a long time, based on my reading of Google’s documentation.

Acer Chromebook – The Only Way to Fly!
This is my 3rd Acer Chromebook and I thought I’d compare product lines. I did, and I purchased another Acer Crhomebook. Nothing else out there compares. Each time my new machine has been a newer version of the last one. I am obviously happy with the Acer. To me, Acer is the only way to fly!
