This item was supposedly checked by Amazon and sold. Wouldnât even power up and when we tried to return it, they advised we reorder⦠problem is not even 30 min later the price had increased $400! It was for a brand new laptop⦠sort of a bait and switch to me! My son was disappointed, but the new laptop arrived today, week past his birthday! Beware of refurbished!

Great laptop! Packaging horrible
Iâve only had this laptop for 2 days… But unlike the other reviews mine fired right up and is amazing. The factory box had both seals broken and was beat up. But the actual laptop sits inside another box which was acer sealed and was not opened. I guess I may have gotten lucky, but Iâm loving it for the price I paid!

Defective
I could not even get it to work, seems to be defective. If itâs brand new it should be able to turn on and charge properly. But no I couldnât do that exactly.

They placed on the description that the laptop is a 500 SE, but all the while it was a 300 SE.. the amazon outer box was slightly open from the tape area, and there was no extra cushions inserted in the box at all to protect the package inside.. the laptop was fine thankfully, working well so far.. it was just a bit misleading because i expected to receive a 500 SE.. came earlier than expected though.. i hope there will be no other issues especially with its functions and all..
