Check of your laptop can even get a ram upgrade!
I just recently attempted to add RAM to my Acer aspire 3 laptop only to find out that there is no slot for that ram. Luckily for me my Asus VivoBook laptop had a spot for it but only one spot which was okay because this is 32 gig of RAM. That’s way more RAM than I will ever need especially with a solid state drive. This works great and it’s a really good price for how much you get and the speed.

I wanted to upgrade memory in an acer laptop, so I ordered 2x 16GB to replace 2x 4GB my laptop is faster and more responsive to multi tasking. Swapping out chips was easy as well as removal of back of laptop. The price is phenomenal compared to name brands of $100. I paid $30 for the first then the second for $24 with a lightning deal during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I highly recommend. Outstanding seller and product at an exceptional price. High quantity and Durable. A faster laptop and internet experience is important to me.

I installed this RAM in my Acer Aspire 5 laptop, which was previously packed with 8 GB of RAM. This laptop was freezing all the time while using multiple apps, but after installing this RAM, it is running smoothly.

Easy install, instant RAM increase
8GB of RAM wasn’t quite cutting it for me anymore. After many hours of research I settled on this RAM unit here. Its specs were what I needed, and it was one of the only single rank modules I could find. I figured I should stick to single rank as the other (unremovable, unupgradeable) stick currently installed in my laptop was also single rank. During my long hours of research I could not find a definitive answer of whether or not mixing dual rank and single rank was fine, so I figured better safe than sorry.I’m certainly not sorry I bought this. Super easy installation, immediate recognition by my laptop. Went from 8GB to 20, and have seen a marked increase in performance. Windows 11 is a hog of an operating system, but now that I have more RAM overall, it’s less noticeable. I can now run multiple programs and Chrome browsers without my memory usage skyrocketing through the roof! A huge win, in my book.Incidentally, my laptop is an Acer, so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with an Acer RAM module. I would assume this unit would also work in non-Acer machines, but as I didn’t install it in one, I can’t say with 100% certainty. YMMV.Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Works Great. Slightly better handling multitasking
Computer is on windows 11 and super sluggish when having multiple windows open or programs open. I bought the cheaper version of the laptop. Upgraded this and now is noticeably faster in switching back and forth now through apps and windows and tabs. ð

This Ram is Perfect for all acer laptops and for other brands also. I purchased 16 GB & my laptop has already installed 16 GB l, giving a total of 32 GB, performing better than expected. I played games on it, it giving better FPS and running applications smoothly.Update – This ram is Dual rank (Not Dual Channel), please dont confused with 1rx8 with 2rx8 because on my laptop the ram pre-installed was samsung 2rx8 (Dual Rank) & This Acer Ram is 1rx8. Although both ranks of rams are better in speed & ypu can mix them too to get good speed. After Installation dont panic on bootup, laptop will take time on first, then after 2-3 bootups it will run normally & fast for mostly.
