The best home music production studio desk – Period!
Wow, I can’t say enough about this desk. Price, features, ease of assembly, wheels roll on carpet fairly easily, I could go on and on. This desk beats everything on the market for a home music studio production desk. Only issue is the rack mount rails on the desk are not spaced to proper spacing for rack mount gear. Easy $40 dollar fix if you go online and buy spec ‘ed rack rails for audio/data rail and swap them out. I won’t even mark the stars down for the rating because of this issue, especially when you compare prices for “quote” pro-level music studio desk to this one.I use a piano bench (not a chair) to play so I don’t see why there is a fuss about the keyboard bench being too low. Also, my computer chair will adjust to a low level, and I still don’t have a problem with the height. The desk holds up to 240lbs of gear and stills rolls on carpet! Can’t beat that because if you have studio equipment you are gonna have to get behind the desk to wire things up pretty often so that is a huge plus. The desk also has good wire management hardware so the wiring can be neat.If your serious about a home recording studio, this desk is easily the best out there.

Awesome desk for the money: instructions weren’t great, broken parts
I would recommend this desk to music producers without a doubt. But it isn’t perfect.Pros: At first glance it’s impressive, the coating on the top pieces is textured and very high end looking and feeling, pretty sturdy (a little wobble when you try and move it), and the racks and extra trays/shelves are really intuitive and cover all of my needs as a producer and engineer.Cons: The desk is low. With the keyboard tray, I can barely fit my legs under, and I can’t push my computer chair under. I’m only 5’6, I’d imagine someone taller would need to hoist up the desk somehow to make it work. You need to be very meticulous when installing the sliders/trays. If you’re a little off they won’t slide properly (I was able to get it nice and smooth with a bit of trial and error). The biggest issue I had is that multiple pieces arrived damaged and unuseable. Working direct with ACME their customer support was honestly top notch and they got me new pieces within a week. I even asked for extra sliding pieces cause the ones they sent initially, although usable, were chipped and didn’t slide very smooth. I will add that the replacements they sent were still a little beat up, but they worked and were easily covered up by other desk components.Overall I would recommend this desk based on the value. There is no way you will find a desk this functional, large, and well-made in this price range. But look over pieces carefully before building, and contact their customer support ASAP to get replacements. Don’t be in a rush cause it may take 1 or 2 tries to get all the correct pieces.

Great Desk Overall
This is a great desk after modifying the keyboard shelf. It was almost impossible to use with the shelf installed as designed as my legs would not fit under the shelf. I used some brackets to raise it about 3â (pictured). I am using a Nektar Impact GX61 and it fits perfectly on the shelf with it raised. If you have a keyboard that is taller, you may not want to raise it 3â. On the top racks, I had to start my gear at the 3rd hole down as it did not line up with the top hole, which is fine as I could need to run some wires straight through. I can still hold 4-5 Us of equipment, which is plenty. I also have a picture of my leg clearance with my chair raised all the way up (which is not normal, just for demonstration). There is about 1.5â of clearance. The monitors are a little high but thereâs really no other option with all the rack space on the desktop (I have a picture at eye level looking straight on). I would buy this again and would recommend it but would also highly recommend raising the keyboard shelf.***Addition to my original review:***Concerning the rack rails on the desk, I believe they were labeled incorrectly. I took them out and was able to mount gear starting at the top. There will still be approximately 1.5â at the bottom of the racks hat will be unusable but I will need to run cables under anywayâ¦

Spacious & Efficient
Two computers, studio speakers, ultra-wide monitor, coffee, food, legal pad, small decorative items, tons of cables, and still plenty of room on this table. A pull-out keyboard was a must for me when shopping and you can actually fit a full 88-key keyboard on the pull-out if you so desire. Well designed, well made, great carbon-fiber like material, cleans up easily, doesnât scratch easily. Setup was not difficult nor easy, just a little time consuming but understandable given how well it functions. Overall this was high quality especially given the price. More than worth it!

Perfect!
Itâs always a little scary making bigger purchases on the internet cus you canât see the actually quality of the product and itâs a pain to try to return large items but I am so happy I bought this! Itâs even cooler in person. The white has a carbon fiber appearance. Very sturdy. Love that it has wheels. Itâs a big desk with a lot of room. It was surprisingly easy to build. I canât even think of anything I donât like about it..
