Works great. Plug and play confirmed!
I used this to revive a Late 2012 Mac mini that was limping along on 4GB of RAM.The new RAM was instantly recognized and the performance increase was instantly noticed.Easy, worthwhile, and cost-effective upgrade.

New life added to our old iMAC
Wow.. Not for the faint of heart if you are swapping out the hard drive or upgrading the memory. We had to take the screen off our iMac to perform the swap. The memory fit the slots perfectly and doubled our memory in our old iMac. I had no problems with compatibility, they work great. My wife is happy with the faster Mac.

Very effective and simple for my Old Mac Mini

Well worth the money
I have an old used MacBook Pro from 2012 that only came with only 4gb ram. I got varying opinions about whether upgrading it to 16gb would make any real difference in performance. Well it most certainly did! The machine runs at least twice as fast as it did before. Applications like Word that used to take 2 to 3 minutes to launch come up in less than 30 seconds. Same with Photoshop. Let’s face it.. it’s still an old computer. However, the added memory has made it comparable in speed to an inexpensive NEW laptop but with the plus of being a MacBook. It is more than adequate now for both personal and business uses.

New Life For An Old Mac Mini
I have an old Mac Mini (late 2012) that seemed to work ok except that it was glacially slow. It took forever to do the simplest things, and heaven forbid I had more than one browser tab open. To make the story short I established that it was simply starved for memory, having come with the standard 4 Gig.Replace old memory with these 16 Gig modules and voila, problems gone. Performs better than ever, like getting a new machine for $60. Super easy to install, nothing else to do. I wish I had done this ages ago!

Worked like a charm
I popped these puppies into my computer, and it instantly started running faster. The whole surgery took about five minutes, with most of that time being the removal and replacement of the screws holding the Mac together. Super easy and very effective.

Easy! Even a boomer could do it..
My computer started making three beeping noises and would open after weeks of telling me the memory was full.. (yes, know). So I googled what to do when your Mac Book beeps three times?â And lo and behold I got directed to a handy dandy You tube vid. I followed the directions. Inserted new memory cards and – done. No need to go to that god awful store miles away, having made an on line booking, and deal with a supercilious (but kindly) millennial calling me â dearâ.

iMac 27″ late 2012. Went from 16 to 32gb. Well worth it
I spent days researching options like SSD’s to replace my HDD or even adding a mSATA SSD drive. Late 2012 models do not benefit at all with the latter option. Price-wise, these options were about the same as going to 32gb RAM but my biggest concern was having to remove the screen to upgrade going with the other routes. While the speed for booting and loading apps has not noticeably changed, going between apps, opening a bunch of apps, watching vids and surfing, working in Excel, and even waking from sleep have improved dramatically. Memory used and cache file size are well within 32gb whereas before it exceeded and required disk access. The next logical upgrade would be replacing the HDD with SSD but I think I can avoid that until I start seeing HDD issues.
