LOVE This Phone! Lightweight and still rugged. Thinner than a PlayStation case!
This is one of my favorite smartphones I have ever owned. It’s super lightweight, thinner than a PlayStation game case, but you can still drop it on the ground without worrying if it will break. Other smartphones you would have to put a clunky rugged protective case over them to make them drop-proof. But this one is drop-proof without any additional bulky case. It’s also cool that it’s waterproof and dustproof. It functions smooth and doesn’t lag. Great for general stuff like email, browsing the internet, and watching videos. Also works great for gaming. I can play Diablo Immortal and Shadowgun Legends on it just fine with no lagging. And you can’t beat the price. Usually rugged phones are pretty expensive, so it’s great to find one like the H6 at the $200 mark.

Only works with limited T-Mobile frequencies.
I picked up this phone as a replacement for a Samsung X-Cover Pro. It is light, thin, and fast but only connects on T-Mobile’s lowest and least reliable LTE band frequencies. 90% of the time it connects to their “Edge” band. I contacted AGM tech support but never received any response. T-Mobile confirmed that it is basically useless on their network and that I should trade it in on something more compatible.

Nice rugged phone, good value
I’ve been using a AGM H6 for a month now. Its a good phone. Love the small size. I had a series of Cat S4x phones before, which I liked, but the Cat S42 is old and Cat is not keeping up with Android releases. The AGM is current. Seems rugged, its survived several crashes on my dirt bike. The finger print detection is flakey, sometimes it works, other times not. I’m not 100% confident on the GPS/GNSS system accuracy. I was driving down the PA Turnpike at 70 MPH and it displayed me 1/4 mile to the south going on country roads. Setup was quick and painless.

Charging stopped, software glitchy/poor camera
After owning the phone for less than 6 months the charging port got so wiggly it is not possible to charge and does not have wireless charging. For 1-2 weeks it was picky about how I positioned the charging cable, then it just stopped. The camera can not handle light and takes washed out photos that look like they are from 15 years ago. Also slow which lead to blurry photos for work. The gps was pretty bad. My previous and new phone can locate me in the woods without cell signal to about 50 ft. This phone had no location ability outside cell service and in cities would often be off by a block. The operating system would also seize about once a day, get stuck for 10-20 seconds, flash then come back. Probably other odd stuff I’m forgetting. Battery life was good for 2 days plus but otherwise worst phone I’ve ever owned. Durable, sort of but fails pretty much every other category.

The phone seemed quite nice, until I used the GPS. It was the most inaccurate GPS I’ve ever seen. It couldn’t place me within a kilometer of my actual location, and attempting to drive with it for navigating it took over a minute to update when you moved. For a rugged outdoorsperson phone, you’d end up lost in the woods and never find your way out with that GPS.

This is a great looking phone, the performance is just as good as my more well known branded smart phone. The battery is good, for a new phone though I feel it could be a bit better but my current phone is well known for its battery performance so maybe I’ve been spoilt a little. For a more budget friendly phone I would say this is a good fit especially for someone clumsy or who does a lot of outdoor activites as it does seem to be a well made and robust phone.

First time I dropped it, after owning it for 3 days, the screen cracked. 2.5 months later the charger piece in the phone is frayed and won’t charge anymore.

I’ve been an iPhone user for years, but needed a dedicated work phone, so grabbed this as it’s reasonable value and looked rugged enough to use around the office, warehouse, and on site.I’ve used it for a few months now and have had no issues at all – Android is very different to iOS that I’m used to, but I’m also used to Windows, so it’s not a problem.Appearance wise, it’s not as pretty as an iPhone, but it’s not bad and it’s in my pocket most of the time, so it’s not really important,Functionality is good; it’s easy to use; easy to navigate and it’s fast enough I think.Sound quality is fairly good, and honestly considering the cost of the phone, it’s excellent value.Battery life is really good!Ability to use a memory card to expand storage, without messing around with iCloud type online storage options with extra cost etc (something I’m used to with my iPhone) is very handy!Overall, I’m impressed with how good this is; and I would certainly recommend it.

I really wanted to like this phone. After a month or two of using it however, I have concluded that it’s awful, with few redeeming features. What I wanted was a nice tough small phone that could be taken anywhere and that just worked; an otherwise normal Android phone, but for hiking or trips or travel, since most smartphones will break just by looking at a travel plan. This is still quite a brick of a phone that barely fits in most pockets or containers, and I can tolerate that design in that it is pretty bombproof, but it could be two-thirds the size and work effectively, and that’s only the beginning of its problems. The OS software is just plain absymal.None of the functionality is normal for stock Android, and the custom UX is totally counter-intuitive. If you go looking for a setting to modify how Android behaves, like a normal user, this phone won’t even have the setting. Not even in developer options. It is riddled with stupid sounds that can’t be turned off.Nothing really explains why AGM felt the need to Fisher Price dumb down the user interface. There’s no money to be saved in a budget phone by reducing the settings available. I’m not sure what target market this is aimed at, that will benefit from an OS that is made harder to navigate and harder to customise. The camera is pretty terrible as reviews did indicate (nearly all shots are grainy or blurry), but I didn’t get it for taking pictures, and the overall responsiveness of the phone is slow, but it’s a budget phone, this at least I can expect. Not really a travel phone, in my opinion.
