Note taking to a new level an E-Stenographer
I do not want this to be a novel length review so I am going to attempt to make it short with the most important features to me. First of all this thing is small and very lightweight. The construction is great if you want a small device and you have to wonder where did they put everything? The pen is a little lighter than I desire but it work as any paper E INK tablet would. Most features are basic of all the E INK tablets I have used. The typing and response times of this tablet or top tier! If you have ever used one you know they tend to be low powered and have delayed responses. This one is better than most. The AINOTE 2 has it’s own spin on note taking. It has CHATGPT connection abilities that you will need to set up with a key. You can type or write or speak to have the AI answer your inquiries. Note*** you need to be online to get it to respond. It will save your work until you have a connection then answer. The AI is not installed locally. iFLYTEK is known for its voice recording devices. The AINOTE 2 implements their voice input tech into this tablet very well. You can speak your notes as expected and also do this very interesting thing. You can place this tablet in the middle of a conference with many people around the room. This tablet will put a grid above the notes and as someone is speaking it will triangulate the sound and tell you which position the voice was talking from! After the meeting you just assign the positions to names and it will adjust the conversations so you know who said what in a conversation type dialog. Isn’t that amazing? It also has the ability to make important points of the meeting you can notate while or after the meetings. This device has One-note connectivity and also and office suite called WPS Office which is an AI Powered Office suite that is compatible with MS Office. There are so many more features like scanning documents and having AI translate, PDF creation and reading, to a scheduler, todo list, email, and many more features I would be all day describing but the best thing I can tell you about this is that it takes a lot of the pencil work out of the E INK work. It really simplifies writing with the voice recording at an amazing new level. Using E INK tablets I was always behind a bit or even distracted by the tech. This little device takes the distraction out of meetings and lets you focus. iFLYTK has made a great product here. This is a perfect gift for a busy business person who has lot of meetings and takes a lot of notes. This will help them free up a lot of time. This is basically an E-Stenographer

Disappointing tablet
I have used a small tablet for several years for games, reading, checking news, email, etc. But I always ran into an issue, of course, when trying to read in the sunlight, as the screen isn’t meant for that kind of contrast. I have seen the tablets that have screens that are specially made for reading outside in daylight and was curious to try one, and this item popped up on Vine. I had high hopes. First let me say that the item was packaged very well, appears to be well-constructed and, indications are good that the readability will be much better outdoors than my current tablet. And for just taking notes, I’m still experimenting but it seems to be fine. My disappointment comes down to several things. First, it’s really not intuitive at all. I have owned many tech devices in my life and consider myself to be pretty proficient, but this device really continues to test my ability to figure it out. There’s virtually no useful documentation in the package, but I did locate a QR code that then linked to another document, which was better but still a nuisance. Somewhere in the documentation it directed me to go to the app store to get the accompanying app but, alas, no such app exists in the store – I tried multiple different searches and variations, but came up empty-handed. I then went to the company’s website, and there’s no listing whatsoever for this device….so no support. That also scuttled my hope of finding a protective case that was designed for the tablet. In addition, there’s no syncing with any of the main online stores/formats, so getting books onto the device is a fairly manual process – which is unfortunate because the ereader aspect was my main reason for trying this item. From the company’s website, apparently they’re proficient at translation devices, etc. so it seems like maybe they experimented with expanding into this field. But they have some very obvious misses in features that could make this product so much better. As it is now, it would be very difficult for this to ever compete with the more well-known e-readers.
